Everton's new kit for the 2022/23 season is still expected to be a few weeks away from announcement despite the club confirming their new main sponsor.
On Thursday morning the Blues announced a club-record deal with Stake.com to see the betting company's name emblazoned on the front of jerseys from next season. The will feature on the front of men's and women's playing shirts as well as appearing on screens and media backdrops at both Goodison Park and Finch Farm.
The company takes over from Cazoo as the club's main sponsor after Everton took an option to end their previous agreement with the car-buying firm. The Blues now have a multi-year agreement with Stake.com - although the exact length and size of the contract have not been publicly revealed.

The latest announcement brings with it questions over when the new kit for the 2022/23 season will be released. Anticipation is already growing for hummel's new design after a string of well-received strips from the company over the last two seasons.
In fact, on Thursday the sportswear brand addressed the talk from Evertonians themselves. Taking to Twitter on Thursday morning they wrote: "And to all the wonderful Everton fans out there, a friendly reminder that we'll share more news as soon as we can etc."
It is believed that any release of a new kit might still be weeks away, however. The Blues were understood to have prioritised an announcement around their new main sponsor before any new strip was released - as they couldn't do so with Cazoo still having their agreement in place.
When the car-buying brand took over from Sportpesa back in 2020, the announcement of their deal came on June 8th, however Everton didn't release their new kit until July 3rd that year. That could perhaps have also been affected by hummel taking over as kit manufacturer that year as well, with that announcement coming in May 2020.
It could be reasonably expected that a similar wait will take place this time around, especially given hummel's message to Everton fans on social media on Thursday - suggesting that any potential announcement isn't exactly imminent.
This will be the third year of the brand's agreement with the Blues, which was an initial three-year partnership.
