Everton midfielder Dele Alli has reportedly requested to be left out of the matchday squad ahead of Nottingham Forest's visit to Goodison Park this afternoon.
The 26-year-old is being linked with a loan move to Besiktas this summer, just under a year after joining the Toffees. Since his move to Merseyside from Tottenham, he has gone on to make just 13 appearances for Frank Lampard, having a limited impact.
According to Turkish journalist Sercan Dikme, the midfielder has "talked to his club" to not be involved in the match against the Reds. He also adds that Besiktas' "management and professionals are working hard" to secure his signature.
