Frank Lampard's search for January reinforcements could involve an Italian job, according to reports.
Tutto Mercato Web claim that Everton have turned their attentions to Inter Milan defender Robin Gosens, but are one of many clubs who will try to lure him away from Serie A.
The German defender is struggling for decent game time at the San Siro and is often limited to substitute appearances, but should the Blues make a serious enquiry, they reportedly face competition from clubs such as Borussia Monchengladbach, Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen.
The experienced 28-year-old is a left-sided defender who likes to get forward and is often deployed as a wing-back. He would offer Lampard a more attacking dimension than regular left-back Vitalii Mykolenko, while providing competition for the Ukranian.

Gosens joined Inter in January 2022 from fellow Serie A side Atalanta on loan, with an obligation to buy for £25 million. But since moving to the San Siro, he has only made one start this season, with all of the other appearances coming off the bench.
Acquiring Gosens could give Lampard greater formation options, with the ability to switch between and back four and back three with wingbacks. The Blues also have Ruben Vinagre on their books, but he has been limited to just three appearances so far this season, suggesting that further reinforcements could be desired.
