Everton release statement on security arrangements as decision made over Arsenal fixture
Everton have stated all matchday and non-matchday security arrangements are being reviewed following the weekend's events.
The latest statement comes after Merseyside Police confirmed they were liaising with the club following alleged 'threats' towards Everton directors before Saturday's game against Southampton.

The club released a statement before that clash - which saw protests against the Everton hierarchy - suggesting board members had been instructed not to attend due to a "real and credible threat to their safety and security".
Club sources would later claim that Prof Barrett-Baxendale was 'put in a headlock' as she left the Goodison Park directors' box, meanwhile another incident reportedly saw her car surrounded and spat at, while chairman Bill Kenwright is said to have received death threats.

What Frank Lampard said after Southampton raises major questions over Everton players
It was shortly after 6.20pm when Frank Lampard arrived in the media room at Goodison Park to start his post-match press conference.
Even those Everton supporters who had stayed to join the peaceful 'sit-it' after the defeat to Southampton had long headed for the exits by the time the Blues boss began his latest inquest into yet another crushing defeat.
Lampard looked bereft at the full-time whistle and as he headed down the tunnel his players followed him to shouts of 'you’re not fit to wear the shirt'. By the time Lampard arrived at his press conference, he looked a lot more upbeat, but one imagines he was simply putting on a brave face.
Make no mistake about it, this was a deeply grim day for all connected to Everton Football Club. The day started with the news that the club’s board of directors had been instructed not to attend the game because of a 'real and credible threat to their safety and security'.
And although Everton’s supporters did their best to give their side a lift with another coach welcome, what transpired from 3pm onwards left many fearing the club is only heading in one direction.
