Everton are have reportedly made an approach to PSG regarding a possible deal for midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
Gueye, 32, left Goodison Park for the French giants back in 2019 and has made 111 appearances for the side. It is thought Frank Lampard is keen on a move for the Senegal international, in an attempt to further bolster the Blues' midfield options.
Suffering a disappointing campaign last year, Everton are bidding to improve their squad having already brought in James Tarkowski and Ruben Vinagre. While the Blues are also close to adding Dwight McNeil to their squad.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Gueye's name is 'just one on the list' and talks are currently said to be at an early stage. The former Lille man does still have one year left on his current deal.
Capturing the Ligue 1 title once again last season, the midfielder made only 18 domestic starts under Mauricio Pochettino, as the former Spurs boss was replaced by Christophe Galtier this summer.
Scoring four goals along the way during the 21/22 campaign, including one against Manchester City in the Champions League, Lampard will be hoping to sure up his sides leaky defence by bringing in a player known to provide further protection.
