Everton supporters have again demonstrated their incredible loyalty with over 97% of season tickets being renewed despite the team’s perilous position in the table.
Loyal but long-suffering Blues don’t even know what division their club will be playing in next term with the spectre of a first relegation in 72 years hanging over them – a 2-2 draw at Leicester City on Monday ensured they remain in the drop zone with four games remaining – but regardless of whether they’re still in the Premier League or will have fallen into the Championship next term, over 8,000 fans came forward in the final week before the deadline with staff at Everton’s Fan Centre taking in excess of 3,000 calls, resulting in a final number of 97.3% renewals.

Following consultation with the Fan Advisory Board and other fan groups, Everton announced their 2023/24 season ticket prices back in November to enable supporters to plan ahead with the price of their average season ticket being the third-cheapest in the Premier League and the option to spread payments over 12 months proving popular with many.
Over the past five years, Everton have been tracking at season ticket renewal rates of above 95% and as well as season tickets, memberships have also hit record highs in sales and revenues.
The small number of season tickets that have now become available will be offered to some of those on the waiting list, which currently stands at almost 20,000. These supporters will be contacted directly by the club.
