Adam Jones - I'm going to go with a 4-3-3
We're getting to the point in which Frank Lampard needs to be putting out his best side ahead of welcoming Chelsea to Goodison Park for the opening match of the Premier League season. The question is, how does Everton's best side look?
I'm going to go with a 4-3-3 personally, but I can certainly see the arguments for a five-at-the-back system. Mainly, I want Alex Iwobi to show his skills in the attacking midfield role, as I think he brings a lot to the side both going forward and defensively.
James Tarkowski comes straight into the team and partners Ben Godfrey for me, with Yerry Mina perhaps given a chance in the second half to fight for his place. Abdoulaye Doucoure and Allan make up the central midfield, but that's an area that Lampard should be looking at more transfers in the near future.

A front three of Anthony Gordon, Demarai Gray and Dominic Calvert-Lewin seems about right for now - but that's only if Dwight McNeil is deemed unavailable. Otherwise, why not throw him straight into the mix?

Matt Jones - Patterson must continue as thoughts turn to Chelsea
The Goodison friendly typically gives an insight into how the Blues will line up on the opening day, so I would like to see Frank Lampard field the team that will play against Chelsea.
That means sticking with the same back five that performed well against Blackpool, although it will be intriguing to see if the manager does go with Nathan Patterson on Week 1.
It would be a tough game to make your first Premier League start. Allan and Aboulaye Doucoure remain the most obvious central midfield options, as does Dominic Calvert-Lewin at the point of the attack.
Flanking the forward is where there are some tricky decisions to make, although Anthony Gordon on the left and Alex Iwobi on the right feels like Everton's best bet at the moment. Dwight McNeil, Demarai Gray and Dele Alli represent strong options to come off the bench.

Connor O'Neill - It has to be five at the back
After last weekend's win over Blackpool, it simply has to be more of the same tonight. That means Everton playing with three centre-back and two wing-backs.
James Tarkowski, Yerry Mina and Ben Godfrey should all be given the nod at the heart of the Blues' backline, while Nathan Patterson and Vitalii Mykolenko should operate on either side.
In the middle, it should be Abdoulaye Doucoure and Tom Davies, while Dele and Anthony Gordon should play off Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who, if fit, should lead the line for the Blues.
My team (5-4-1): Pickford, Tarkowski, Patterson, Mina, Godfrey, Mykolenko, Davies, Doucoure, Gordon, Dele, Calvert-Lewin.
