Everton line-up confirmed for Dynamo Kyiv as Dominic Calvert-Lewin returns and new boys named on bench

Vitalii Mykolenko captains Everton as Dominic Calvert-Lewin returns to the starting line-up for the match against Dynamo Kyiv on Friday evening.

Meanwhile, new signings Ruben Vinagre and Dwight McNeil have both been named on the bench. The pair confirmed their transfers to the Blues on Wednesday and Thursday respectively and have come straight into the matchday squad.

Frank Lampard has made four changes from the side that took to the field from the start against Blackpool last time out. Michael Keane, Alex Iwobi, Demarai Gray and Calvert-Lewin are all back in the side as Frank Lampard names an attacking line-up.

Jordan Pickford starts between the sticks as he looks to bring his fantastic form from the end of last season into the current campaign. In front of him are five defenders again, perhaps hinting at the manager's system preference before the opening match of the campaign against Chelsea at the beginning of next month.

Nathan Patterson continues at right wing-back with Seamus Coleman still recovering from injury, with Mykolenko captaining the side on the opposite side. Keane, meanwhile, has come into the side to replace Yerry Mina.

Abdoulaye Doucoure partners Iwobi in central midfield, while Anthony Gordon and Gray flank Calvert-Lewin at the top end of the pitch. There's no place for Mina, Andre Gomes, Tom Davies or Jean-Philippe Gbamin in the Blues squad this evening.

Everton XI: Pickford; Patterson, Tarkowski, Keane, Godfrey, Mykolenko; Iwobi, Docuoure; Gray, Calvert-Lewin, Gordon

Subs: Crellin (GK), Lonergan (GK), Holgate, Allan, McNeil, Nkounkou, Dele, Vinagre, Rondon, Warrington, Mills, Welch.
