Everton line-up as Abdoulaye Doucoure returns and Dominic Calvert-Lewin misses out against Man City

Abdoulaye Doucoure has returned to the Everton starting line-up to face Man City, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin has failed a late fitness test.

The midfielder makes his first appearance under Frank Lampard as the manager makes one change to his starting line-up from the loss to Southampton last weekend.

Calvert-Lewin was struggling with a slight issue heading into Saturday and was believed to be touch-and-go for the match, but hasn't been included in the squad.

EXCLUSIVE: Mason Holgate gives verdict on squad and sends message to Everton fans

Lampard looks to be using a 4-3-3 formation with a back four of Seamus Coleman, Michael Keane, Mason Holgate and Jonjoe Kenny all keeping their places in the side.

Doucoure comes straight into the midfield alongside both Allan and Donny van de Beek, with Richarlison leading the line up front flanked by Anthony Gordon and Alex Iwobi.

On the bench, Demarai Gray has come back into the squad to take his place among the substitutes.

Everton XI: Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Holgate, Kenny, Allan, Doucoure, Van de Beek, Iwobi, Gordon, Richarlison.

Subs: Begovic, Patterson, Gray, Townsend, Mykolenko, Branthwaite, Rondon, El Ghazi, Dele.

Man City: Ederson, Stones, Dias, Laporte, Cancelo, Rodri, Gundogan, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Foden, Sterling.
