Everton could launch a raid on the German football in pursuit of a new forward this summer, according to reports.
But they may face competition from West Ham United in a race to land one of the Bundesliga's fancied strikers, while Sean Dyche looks to rescue the Blues' season with the players he currently has at his disposal.
Sky Sports Germany reporter Christian Falk claims that Everton and the Hammers are both 'heavily interested' in Union Berlin centre-forward Sheraldo Becker. The journalist also reports that the Bundesliga title challengers have already received an offer for the 27-year-old but could not confirm which club it had come from.

Writing for Caught Offside, Falk said: “Both West Ham and Everton are interested in Sheraldo Becker. We’ve just had it confirmed that Union received a concrete offer on Monday, though it’s not immediately clear which of the two submitted it.
“Union, however, now have a chance to potentially secure Champions League football next year and they’re still in the cup, so that’s why they were reluctant to sell Sheraldo. But in the summer they know they could lose him. He’s got a contract that runs until 2025. I could imagine seeing him switch to the Premier League in the summer.”
Becker, who was born in Holland but has represented the Suriname national football team, could have a release clause in his contract, but the trigger amount does not appear to be common knowledge at this point. The Ajax academy graduate, who joined Berlin in 2019, has eight goals to his name in 19 appearances this season.
