Everton have no intention of selling Anthony Gordon amid interest from several Premier League clubs, the ECHO understands.
Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly among those keen on the 21-year-old following his impressive breakthrough season for the Blues. Gordon, who won Everton's players' player of the season and young player of the season awards, was one of the bright sparks in an otherwise difficult campaign in which the club narrowly avoided relegation.
As well as impressing for the first team, Gordon has also produced a number of promising displays for England's Under-21s in catching the eye of rival clubs.

Following reports of interest in prising Gordon away from Goodison Park, Everton are thought to be determined to keeping hold of him. Lampard repeatedly spoke highly of the young star last season and also spoke of his hope he would be able to retain his best players as he looked to build for the future.
He saw the departure of Richarlison to Spurs in a £60m package last week but is thought to be keen not to lose further significant players. Several reports have linked Gordon to Spurs. Difficulties in the negotiations between both clubs over Richarlison have damaged relations between them. Claims Newcastle had expressed interest in the youngster then emerged on Wednesday morning.
In the face of that interest, Everton are said to be intent on keeping hold of Gordon, however, as they prepare for a new season that launches at Goodison Park against Chelsea on August 6.
