Everton games Abdoulaye Doucoure will miss after red card against Tottenham

Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure looks set to miss three matches following his straight red card against Tottenham Hotspur over an incident with Harry Kane tonight.

The altercation was sparked on the hour mark after the England captain tripped Demarai Gray in front of the Blues bench. Kane and Doucoure then clashed, with the former grabbing the Everton man's shirt - before the midfielder appeared to strike the forward in the face.

At the time, the two sides were deadlocked going into the final half-an-hour at Goodison Park. But the 30-year-old will now miss at least three matches in their important battle for Premier League safety.

Doucoure has been in fine form since his reintegration in the Everton side under Sean Dyche. He will now miss Saturday's away trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United and the relegation showdown with Crystal Palace, with Marco Silva's Goodison Park return with Fulham sandwiched in between.
