Everton free to spend in transfer market as Armando Broja decision made by Chelsea

Broja still in London

Everton target Armando Broja is not on his way to the United States for Chelsea's United States tour.

The striker spent last season on loan at Southampton and returned to his parent club with his sights set on first-team football at Stamford Bridge. With that not guaranteed at the moment, speculation has mounted that the Albanian international could be leaving once again.

With the west London outfit jetting out to the US, Broja will not be joining them as he seeks clarification on his future. Though it is believed he could fly out next week, the Toffees are in the background waiting to pounce at the next sign he will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge.

Toffees able to spend money

Everton have nothing holding them back from making signings, with there being no checks on the club from the Premier League.

Richarlison's sale to Tottenham Hotspur at the start of July allowed the Toffees to use the funds raise in their annual accounts and saw them fall in line with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.

Because of this, the club are able to spend freely and won't be facing any punishment after they recorded losses of £370 million over the past three years of Farhad Moshiri’s tenure. However, talks are ongoing with the Premier League due to the FFP issues they face.
