Everton have teamed up with technical partner hummel to provide a 10-year-old supporter with a day to remember.
Skyla, a pupil at St Mary and St Paul’s CE Primary in Prescot, discovered she would be carrying the match ball onto the Goodison Park pitch ahead of Everton Women's meeting with Liverpool on March 24. Skyla will also receive a selection of hummel items and executive seating for the Merseyside derby alongside her family members.
Delivering this wonderful news to Skyla were Izzy Christiansen and Jess Park of Everton Women, who surprised the youngster at her school before partaking in a PE session and gifting the other Year 5 class members goody bags and complimentary tickets to the WSL game against the Reds.

Skyla gained her first taste of watching Brian Sørensen's side earlier this season through Everton's School Supporters' Club scheme - an extra-curricular engagement tool that allows individuals to meet other like-minded students, make friends and learn more about the club they support - and has since attended each home fixture at Walton Hall Park.
Providing her reaction to winning this memorable prize, Skyla told evertonfc: “It’s been amazing to follow the team and watch people like me play this season. I’m really excited to walk out onto the pitch with the referee and players, and to watch the game from a box with my family will be extra special, too.”
Skyla’s father, Kevin, added: “As soon as she went to an Everton Women game, she fell completely in love with the team, and she adores everything about the matchday experience. Sky’s really shy and when she went for the first time, Jess Park came over and spent quite a lot of time with her. That meant so much to us and I hope that the players know how much of an impact they have on little girls’ lives. I don’t think it’s quite hit Sky just how big of an opportunity this is, but I'm sure it will eventually. She’s speechless and so happy, and we can’t thank hummel and Everton enough.”
