The Everton Fan Advisory Board have called on the club to deliver an “explanation” following the closure of the January transfer window.
The Blues had a quiet transfer deadline day, with no new signings walking through the door at Finch Farm. The only major business Everton did during January were the sales of Anthony Gordon to Newcastle and Nathan Broadhead to Ipswich Town.
Everton were the only club in the Premier League not to make a single signing throughout January. Now new manager Sean Dyche must work with the current squad to try and help the club avoid relegation.

A day after the transfer window closed, the Everton Fan Advisory Board issued an urgent message to the club. In a post on Twitter, their account has called for fans to be owed an explanation by the club following the lack of transfer activity.
“We’re in a weaker position now than when we entered the transfer window,” the tweet read.
“Evertonians deserve an explanation as to why the commitments haven’t been delivered.
“We’ve asked for that explanation to be provided as soon as possible.”
