Everton F.C. vs Chelsea Stats Point To Dropped Points For Visitors

It will be Everton F.C. vs Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, so ahead of the game we have taken a look at some key stats between the two sides.

Everton F.C. vs Chelsea Stats Ahead Of Sunday’s 2pm Premier League Clash

Chelsea could go top of the Premier League – albeit maybe only briefly – when they play Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.

Enzo Maresca’s side are the in-form side in the league and have closed the gap down to two points to leaders Liverpool.

The Reds have a game in hand already over Chelsea but the Blues are piling the pressure on Arne Slot’s side.

Liverpool will be hoping for a favour from their rivals across the park Everton, who will look to make life tough for Chelsea at Goodison Park.

Chelsea Heavy Favourites To Claim Victory

Given their recent form, it is no surprise that Chelsea are strongly expected to take the three points on Sunday afternoon, according to the best football betting sites in the UK.

At the time of writing with odds subject to change, Chelsea are 8/13 favourites to win, with an Everton victory at 4/1 and a draw at 16/5.

Despite Chelsea’s current form, their record at Goodison Park isn’t the best.

Everton Hope To Repeat Last Season’s Victory At Home

The Toffees have an incredible record at home against Chelsea, winning five of their last six meetings at Goodison Park.

Last season, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Lewis Dobbin scored the goals to send the Blues to defeat.

Chelsea’s only victory at Goodison Park in the last six meetings was in August 2022, when Jorginho scored from the penalty spot in a 1-0 win.

A trip to Goodison Park going off past meetings could be a true test to Chelsea’s title credentials.

Cole Palmer Scored FOUR Goals When These Sides Last Met

Cole Palmer has been one of the Premier League’s standout players since he joined Chelsea at the beginning of the 2023-24 season.

One of his best days in a Chelsea shirt came at Stamford Bridge back in April when he scored four goals in a 6-0 thrashing of Everton.

He scored his hat-trick within the opening half-hour of the game, before adding his fourth from the penalty spot in the second-half.

This could be his 50th game for Chelsea in the Premier League and he already has 33 goals and 17 assists.

He’s already just the fourth player to have 50+ goal involvements in his first 50 Premier League games for a club. He joins Erling Haaland who had 62 for Man City, Andrew Cole’s 57 for Newcastle and Mohamed Salah’s 52 for Liverpool.
