Everton will face Bournemouth away from home in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
Frank Lampard's side ensured the Blues would be in the hat for this evening's draw courtesy of a hard-fought victory over Fleetwood Town on Tuesday evening. Demarai Gray's goal proved to be the difference and has given the club hope of putting together a run within the competition.
Everton exited the League Cup at the second round stage last season, losing to Championship side QPR on penalties, though reached the quarter-final the year prior to this after knocking out Salford City, Fleetwood Town and West Ham.

The Toffees' next Carabao Cup opponents, Bournemouth, overcame Norwich City on penalties in the previous round after drawing 2-2 in normal time. Ties for the third round are due to be played the week commencing November 7.
It means Lampard's men will face the Cherries on the road twice in a matter of days, with the teams also set to meet in the Premier League on November 12.
