Everton boss Frank Lampard appears to have celebrated his side’s most recent win - with Ed Sheeran!
The Blues recorded a hard-fought victory over Manchester United on Saturday to put themselves four points above the relegation zone. A disappointing defeat to Burnley had previously deflated supporters, but other results also went Everton’s way at the weekend to significantly boost the club’s survival hopes.
Having already endured some tough moments at Everton since taking the job in January, the 43-year-old was in a celebratory mood after seeing his side produce a positive performance at Goodison. Pictured alongside chart-topping Ed Sheeran, the pair met up in a Chelsea pub to mark the occasion, as reported by The Mirror .

Lampard and the singer-songwriter were then spotted leaving The Chelsea Pig Pub, a bar that was previously owned by the Everton boss and his father Frank Snr. Walking side-by-side, the pair were pictured with an arm over each other’s shoulder after sharing a joke.
The former Chelsea boss has been friends with Sheeran for a number of years, as the Shape of You singer performed at his wedding to Christine Bleakley in 2015. Everton fans will not mind if the team continues to give Lampard cause to celebrate either, having had concerns over the club’s Premier League status.
Speaking after the United win, Lampard said : "Some people around me are calculating how many points sides will get, it doesn't matter to me. I have an eye on it, but all I think about is the next game.
"If it changes the face of it right now, it could look different by the end of tomorrow night. We know it's absolutely in our hands to keep performing, keep giving everything for every game to stay in the league. Regardless of the others."
The Mirror claims both Lampard and Sheeran had "reasons to be cheeful" of late, with the Shape of You singer having recently won a High Court battle over whether his 2017 hit copied another artist’s song.
