Ambassadors for Liverpool FC and Everton FC left flowers at the scene of Olivia Pratt-Korbel's shooting.
Former players Ian Rush and Ian Snodin left floral tributes in Kingsheath Avenue, Dovecot on behalf of the Merseyside football clubs. The two club ambassadors, Snodin wearing a suit with a blue tie and Rush wearing an LFC suit with a red tie, arrived at the police cordon at around 9.45am this morning, Friday, August 26.
Olivia, a nine-year-old schoolgirl, was shot dead in her own home at around 10pm on Monday, August 22. Olivia was hit by a stray bullet from a gunman chasing convicted criminal Joseph Nee. The schoolgirl was hit in the chest with the same bullet that injured her mum Cheryl.

Olivia was taken to Alder Hey Children's Hospital, where she later died. A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of her murder and two counts of attempted murder. The arrest came after an operation involving armed officers in Huyton on Thursday, August 25.
There have been a huge number of floral tributes left on Kingsheath Avenue in the days following Olivia's death. The club ambassadors lay wreaths this morning.
On the flowers from Everton FC, a message read: "RIP Olivia. No words will lessen the pain or explain such a tragedy. Our city stands united. Forever in our thoughts."
A card on the floral tribute from Liverpool FC said: "Rest in peace Olivia, with deepest sympathy from all of us at Liverpool Football Club. You'll never walk alone."
A fundraiser has been launched to help Olivia's family through the ordeal. The fundraiser, which has raised around £26,000 so far, was set up with the family's permission to "give this little angel the send off she deserves".
Olivia's family paid tribute to the "unique" little girl in a public statement yesterday, August 25. They said: "Liv was a unique, chatty, nosey little girl who broke the mould when she was born. She loved life and all it had to offer. Liv loved dressing up and was very particular on how she was dressed, like any other little girl she loved doing her makeup and nails. She was nine going on 19.
“Liv was adored by everyone who knew her and would instantly make friends with anyone and everyone. She was often seen going up and down the street on her new bike she had just got for her birthday. Although her life was short, her personality certainly wasn’t and she lived it to the most she could, and would blow people away with her wit and kindness."
