Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has emerged as a deadline day transfer target for Everton and Crystal Palace as the end of the January window approaches.
Alli has struggled to assert himself under a number of managers over the past three seasons and a move away from north London has long been touted.
The last January window saw a deadline day move to Paris Saint-Germain fall through at the last moment and the player would obviously be eager to avoid a repeat of that scenario.
Newcastle United had been strongly linked with a move for Alli throughout the January window but a report from The Sun indicated that the player would still prefer a move to the French capital.
But two new competitors have now entered the fight for his signature, with Premier League duo Crystal Palace and Everton both making approaches, according to talkSPORT.
Crystal Palace are looking at a loan deal for the player, while Everton could make him Frank Lampard's first permanent signing as Toffees' manager.
Antonio Conte reportedly arrived in north London prepared to give all members of the squad a chance, including Alli.
But with Spurs travelling to Chelsea for a crunch match in the top-four chase, the 25-year-old was left out of the squad entirely.
Alli made the move to Spurs from MK Dons in 2015 and has gone on to make 269 appearances for the Lilywhites, scoring 67 goals and providing 61 assists during that time.
The 2021-22 campaign, however, has only seen him play 10 times in the Premier League, scoring one goal, with Conte opting to play him just twice in their last eight matches.
Elsewhere in the transfer window, Tottenham are edging closer to deals for Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur, while Bryan Gil is set to join Valencia.
