Maybe they shouldn’t call these exhibition matches “friendlies” any more.
With Germany and France taking the court against each other on July 6, things got pretty heated between Evan Fournier and Dennis Schröder — two long-time NBA players who both know they’d never get away with these antics in the Association.
After Schröder confronted Fournier on the baseline, Fournier responded by putting both of his hands around the guard’s neck before both teams came flying in to break up the scuffle.
You don’t really expect to see two veterans going at each other like this, but the two seemed to make up after Fournier was (rightfully) ejected.
FOURNIER CHOKES SCHRODER! Dennis Schroder put his hands on Evan Fournier’s shoulder/neck area, then Fournier doubled down & choked him back! 😳
The veteran players hugged & talked it out, after, but Fournier was ejected!

Let’s save that extra energy for the Olympics, guys. Paris is waiting.
