Evan Ferguson's stock continues to rise as the 18-year-old's sensational header rescued a point for Brighton in a 2-2 draw with Leicester on Saturday afternoon.
The Bettystown man had to be content with a place on the bench for the Seagulls despite his recent great form.
And Leicester went ahead in the match after Harvey Barnes and Marc Albrighton found the net to cancel out Kaoru Mitoma’s sensational opener.

But Ferguson came on for Danny Welbeck in the 66th minute and he bagged the equaliser when ghosting past Papys Mendy and sensationally heading past Danny Ward from 12 yards out.
Even Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers had nothing but praise for the young Irishman, even though he had just seen the Bettystown striker cost the Foxes two vital points.
"Evan Ferguson who is a fantastic player, scores a really good goal," said Rodgers.
"From our perspective, he drifted into an area that we should probably cover. But overall it's disappointing not to get the win. We worked really hard for it but lots of really good signs.”
It was Ferguson's third Premier League goal in only five matches as the 18-year-old continues to turn heads for a Brighton side up to sixth place in the league.
The Meath native has also bagged two assists for the club since making the breakthrough into the first team.
