Evan Ferguson has been backed to go from strength to strength after scoring two goals in as many games for Brighton and Hove Albion.
The 18-year-old started for the Seagulls against Everton at Goodison Park on Tuesday, scoring Brighton's second and assisting their third as they ran out 4-1 winners.
It comes just days after he came off the bench to score against Arsenal on New Year's Eve.

And Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi believes the teenager has all the qualities to become a great striker.
"I'm happy for Evan, he played a fantastic game," he told the club website.
"He has big potential and I think he can help us in the second part of the season. With Danny Welbeck, he can be very important as our strikers. Evan could become a great striker because he has all the qualities, both physical and technical.
"It was a mature performance by Evan."
De Zerbi added: "My job is to give him and the other young players the possibility to play.
"[Jeremy] Sarmiento played a good game too and I want to progress with young players.
"In the first half I didn't like the quality of our play in defensive spaces, but I can understand this, every Premier League game is difficult.
"But we asked more of ourselves and the second half was amazing, there was a different quality to our play - we played well. We played with more energy and scored more goals, I am only sad because of their goal.
"Their goal changed nothing today, but it could [do so] at the end of the season. But it is an important result and I am happy."
Tuesday's result heaped more pressure on Frank Lampard, but the Everton boss remains confident that he can turn things around.
“Since I’ve been here we’ve been in this situation of fighting relegation,” he said.
“It’s not a case of fear, I can’t control the talk or the decision when you are around this area of the table. When you lose a game like this I absolutely understand any reaction.
“I am very confident in myself and will work to turn it around. The only concern you can have is the work you do the next day. I arrived in a relegation battle and you have to focus on going again.”
