Eurovision 2023 live final dates, tickets, jury and family shows in Liverpool

The 2023 Eurovison Song Contest kicks off its live shows in May.

The Eurovision spectacle encompasses far more than the typical viewer may imagine, with the contest hosting a whopping nine live shows overall. Fans are able to attend these shows for a fraction of the price, which means there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Throughout May, Liverpool will host six "private" performances - three jury shows and three family shows. The family show is an opportunity for younger fans to attend and see that night in its entirety during its rehearsal stage. It doesn't take away from the experience, it just means the daytime performances won't be broadcast.

The jury show is a full run-through of the event that takes place the night before the televised version. It’s when the international juries cast their votes for the participants. Audiences can stay for a randomised version of the qualifier/points reveals, as the presenters practise for different scenarios.

Family and jury shows aside, there are the main events which include the semi-finals and grand final.

Eurovision 2023: Dates of shows

  • Monday 8th: First semi-final jury show
  • Tuesday 9th: First semi-final family show

The EuroVillage, a key asset of every Eurovision season, will house fans from across the world in Liverpool's Pier Head, broadcasting the event to an outdoor audience of 25,000. The Culture Liverpool team has promised a list of stages and live music to coincide with their festival of culture which will represent a modern-day Ukraine.

Surrounded by the city's historic three graces and stunning views of the River Mersey, it will open its door from May 5 until May 13.
