Rylan Clark and AJ Odudu declared themselves big fans of Liverpool's energy after their visit for Eurovision duties.
The pair presided over last night's Eurovision Insignia Handover, which saw the keys of the contest arrive in Liverpool along with the semi-final allocation draw. Rylan and AJ were the faces of the event and thanked the BBC and Eurovision teams for letting them be a part of it.
After the BBC Two broadcast wrapped, AJ told the Liverpool ECHO and other journalists they were fans of Liverpool because, "If anyone can throw a party, it’s the city of Liverpool."

The presenting powerhouses landed in the city on Monday night and made the most of their new surroundings. AJ revealed they both "went out" after arriving but they don't remember much of what went down. She also seemed perplexed by the idea Liverpool was still capable of having a party atmosphere on what is typically one of the sleepiest nights of the week.
She said: "What I love about Liverpool is how fun it is and that everyone is just up for it. I mean we got here on a Monday night and went out. On a Monday night!"
Quizzed on where they went, Rylan said: "I can't remember what it was called but it was fun. We ate a lot of meat and it all got a bit blurry. I've had the pleasure of being here before and it's such a lovely city. Everyone's just so friendly and welcoming."
Rylan went on to explain his personal ties to the city date back over a decade, to his first television appearance. He added: "My X Factor boot camp was in the Arena so coming back all these years I can say 'Yeah, I did alright'."
Bringing the conversation "full circle," AJ said: "I know what you mean because I used to come out clubbing in Liverpool all the time when I was at university and just to be here now on a more professional note... not swinging on the floor at a Vodka Revs, I feel really wholesome."
The pair went on to declare Liverpool "beautiful" and historically rich before requesting the press to teach them some local slang.
