Eurovision fans issue plea to Ticketmaster after ticket details released

Eurovision fans have issued a plea to the company selling the show's tickets.

It was announced today, Thursday, March 2, that Ticketmaster will be the company to sell Eurovision tickets. They will go on sale at midday, Tuesday, March 7.

Fans will only be able to buy through Ticketmaster, regardless of what country they are from and can only purchase tickets for one show at a time. A Ticketmaster UK account is absolutely necessary to make a purchase. Fans are encouraged to create their accounts in advance before next week.

Following the announcement, fans have issued a plea for the company. It comes after Beyoncé fans faced long queues on the site and technical issues as tickets went on general sale for the UK leg of her tour.

A third user @DrBenStanford also said: "Ticketmaster. Good luck everyone."

Tickets for nine live shows will go on sale on Ticketmaster from 12pm on Tuesday , March 7. Tickets range from £30 to £290 for the semi-final shows and from £80 to £380 for the grand final shows.

Around 3,000 tickets for those who fled their home country when Russian troops invaded last February will be subsided by the Government. They will cost £20. They will be able to buy up to four tickets per purchase for the live shows and six for the preview performances.
