Eurovision 2023 tickets to go back on sale after huge demand from fans for Liverpool shows

Eurovision Song Contest fans will have another chance to get tickets for Liverpool, just two weeks before the event starts, as more become available online.

It's been nearly a year since Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra triumphed at Eurovision in Italy, beating the UK's sam Ryder into second place. However, given the conflict in the war torn country over the last year, it was decided by the European Broadcasting Union that Ukraine couldn't host this year, with the BBC agreeing to take up the baron on behalf of the UK.

That news led to a whole host of cities bidding to host Eurovision for the UK and, in the end it was Liverpool who were chosen, after a final battle with Glasgow. The event is being billed as very much a celebration of Ukraine and tickets for the nine different performances across the week flew out, when they went on sale at the start of March.

Ticketmaster went into a near meltdown as fans across the world tried to get their hands on some; with them all going within half an hour.

But the good news for anyone who didn't get any and still wants to go, is that more will go on sale next week.

When do more Eurovision tickets go on sale?

According to the now BBC Eurovision tweet, Eurovision fans will need to be on their marks at 12 noon on Monday, April 24, as that is when final tickets were said to be going on sale, online from Ticketmaster.

The release of more tickets is said to be down to the staging now being complete at Liverpool's M&S Arena, freeing up more room for fans.

Tickets are set to be made available for NINE different performances, kicking off with the preview of the first semi final on Monday, May 8. This will be followed by a afternoon preview on Tuesday, May 9, before the live semi that night.

On Wednesday, May 10, the arena will play host to an evening preview of semi final two, before another preview and live show for the second semi on May 11.

There will be the jury show for the Eurovision final on the evening of Friday, May 12, before the final preview on Saturday afternoon and the big one, the Eurovision final that night.
