The Eurovision Song Contest grand final will be underway later this evening, and Liverpool has pulled out all the stops to be a fantastic host city.
Festivities have been underway for weeks, with a EuroVillage set up at the city's famous Pier Head, and a whole schedule of events and activities in the build-up to tonight. Twenty-six nations will battle it out in the grand final at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena, with one country being crowned the winner of Eurovision 2023.
Thousands of people have descended on Liverpool, with Scousers joining the crowds to soak up the fun. And among the many people in the city centre, a new trend has been spotted.

Seas of Eurovision fans can be seen across the city, and many people who are out for a good time are wearing a variety of bold and colourful hats. Some bear the Union Flag colours of red, white and blue, while others feature a rainbow pattern, amid many other weird and wonderful types.
