The Eurovision Song Contest returns for its 66th edition this May.
It's almost time for another night of whacky costumes, eclectic music and all-round great entertainment as European countries - and some non-European countries including Israel and Australia - battle it out to become the Eurovision champion. Last year's competition in the Netherlands saw Italian rock outfit Måneskin claim the crown with their hit Zitti e Buoni.
They stormed the night with an impressive 524 points, giving Italy its first Eurovision win since 1990. Runners-up France racked up 499 points. Of course, England came last with 'nul points' as James Newman's song Embers failed to impress either the international judging panel or the viewers.

Maybe this year's entry, Essex musician Sam Ryder, will have more luck with his hit SPACE MAN. The singer began posting music covers to TikTok during the first lockdown in 2020 and became the most-followed UK artist on the app before the year was out.
Some 183 million people in 36 countries tuned in to watch the musical antics unfold last year, according to data from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). 7.4 million Brits watched the broadcast on BBC One - the highest UK viewing figures since 2014.
So, where abouts is this year's Eurovision being held and when can you watch it?
Where is Eurovision 2022 being held?
This year's song contest will be live from Turin, Italy, following Måneskin's victory last year. The grand final will take place at the PalaOlimpico, one of Italy’s largest indoor arenas.
Turin was among 17 Italian cities and regions competing to host the world’s largest live music event. It will be the country's third time hosting Eurovision, having previously staged the event in Naples in 1965 and Rome in 1991.
When is the Eurovision final?
The grand final broadcasts live from Turin on Saturday May 14 at 8pm BST. The two semi-finals take place on Tuesday May 10 and Thursday May 12.
Grammy and Golden Globe winning Italian recording artist Laura Pausini, esteemed TV presenter Alessandro Cattelan and British-Lebanese pop star Mika will be hosting Eurovision 2022. Music fans can tune in to BBC One for live coverage on the night, or catch up on the action on BBC iPlayer.
