Eurovision fans became emotional while watching Ukraine perform at the Eurovision 2022 final.
Up until recently, Ukraine did not know if it could take part in the competition this year after Russia's invasion in February. The war continues and is causing thousands of deaths and millions have had to flee their homes.
However, the country was eventually able to send rap band Kalush Orchestra to Turin, Italy for the final. The band and its song Stefania have been expected to win the contest ever since.

The group found out it was taking part in the competition just two days before Ukraine was invaded by Russia. Kalush Orchestra was created in 2019 and consists of frontman Oleh Psiuk, multi-instrumentalist Ihor Didenchuk and dancer Vlad Kurochka.
Tonight, as their vibrant performance ended, the band made a heartbreaking plea for help. They reminded viewers they'll be going back to the frontline to defend their country in the war against Russia once the competition is over. They said: ""Please help Ukraine, Mariupol, Azovstal [steel works], right now."
The moment made fans emotional as they took to Twitter to share their support for the country.
Em said: "I have cried so many tears for Ukraine, that was stunning #Eurovision." Sniper said: "#esc #EUROVISION #Ukraine Awesome performance. Had tears in my eyes. Love from #Finland."
Chris said: "Ukraine wasn’t my #1 favourite song but I was very emotional just seeing them onstage. Won’t be upset if they win. #UKR #Eurovision."
Richard said: "I just teared up a bit at the end of Ukraine’s performance. That’s not an emotional response I associate with #Eurovision #SBSEurovision"
