It is now less than a month until Eurovision arrives in the UK and a Welsh 2023 Dancing on Ice star is taking part in one of the welcoming events. The Vivienne, who wowed fans and made it to the 2023 Dancing on Ice final, is part of the line-up for The Big Eurovision Welcome.
The show, which is happening in Liverpool on Sunday, May 7 and will be broadcast on BBC One on Monday, May 8, is being hosted by AJ Odudu, who has just been announced as the new co-host of Big Brother, and comedian Joel Dommett. The Vivienne will be appearing on the night in a special cameo and contributions.
Others performing include Conchita Wurst, who won the Contest for Austria in 2014, and 2016 contest winner Jamala for Ukraine will be in attendance. Representing Liverpool will be some of the most successful groups that the region has ever produced including indie-pop darlings The Lightning Seeds, girl band Atomic Kitten and soul legends The Real Thing. On her social media The Vivienne said she was "so proud" to be performing at Eurovision.

The Vivienne is the stage name of James Lee Williams, a drag queen from Colwyn Bay who grew up in Wales before moving to Liverpool aged 16. You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.
The Vivienne recently split from husband, David, following a stint on Dancing on Ice where she was the first drag queen to take part in the show. She has shut down any rumours that the marriage break-up was a result of a close friendship with her Dancing on Ice professional partner.
Adding a comment to her earlier post on Instagram, The Vivienne wrote: "And just everybody knows as I’m already seeing tweets. This has nothing to do with Colin my Dancing On Ice partner. We are very good friends and never involved romantically, Colin is in a relationship. Thank you".
