The season is drawing to a close in Europe with the Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue all set to be wrapped up in due course after which attention will switch to the summer transfer window.
All of the big European clubs including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and both Milan clubs will be attempting to strengthen their squads ahead of next season.
The futures of some big-name players will also decided with Kylian Mbappe, Paul Pogba and Robert Lewandowski among the top stars who are likely to join different clubs next season. Mirror Sport has rounded up all the latest transfer rumours, gossip and news from around the continent.
PSG make last-ditch Mbappe offer
Kyllian Mbappe is expected to form club football's deadliest strike partnership with French international team-mate Karim Benzema at Real Madrid next season.
In a late twist, Mbappe's current club Paris Saint-Germain are believed to have made a last-ditch effort to prevent the 23-year-old striker's move to the Santiago Bernabeu by offering him a staggering £135 million signing-on fee to keep him in the French capital for two more seasons.
But expert Spanish football analyst Guillem Balague says Real anticipate wrapping up the deal before the end of the month. He said: "Real Madrid are confident the terms agreed in the past will be respected, even though he tried to change them a bit when PSG came up with a huge offer of a 150m euros signing-on fee.” Mbappe's representatives are understood to have contacted Liverpool and informed them he prefers a move to the La Liga champions instead of Merseyside.
Croatian midfielder Luka Modric looks set to sign a new contract at Madrid according to respected Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano while Le Parisien claim Marco Verratti will stay at PSG.

Juve eye Man Utd old boy
Paul Pogba could be heading back to Turin after allegedly deciding against a move across town from Old Trafford. According to Romano, Pogba has “turned down Manchester City ” but Juventus have warned him they cannot match Paris Saint-Germain's wages. The Old Lady would, however, offer him a “key” role in midfield.
Romano says Juve are also discussing a 12-month deal for PSG's Manchester United flop Angel Di Maria. The French club have not activated the one-year extension clause in Di Maria's contract, but he wants one more season in Europe before heading home to Argentina.
Bayern and Barca striker swap
Robert Lewandowski is on his way out of Bayern Munich – but Barcelona may have to do some hard bargaining to land the prolific Polish centre-forward. The Catalan giants, operating within a financial straitjacket, have told the German champions they cannot pay more than £32 million for the 33-year-old, who has scored a remarkable 56 goals for club and country this season.
But according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona may be prepared to throw in Dutch striker Memphis Depay, who only moved to the Nou Camp last summer, as a makeweight in any deal. Meanwhile, Bayern are leading the race to sign Barcelona misfit Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer. French paper L'Equipe say Bayern will offer him a four-year deal worth £16 million-a-year.
