Fulham are blowing away the Championship this season.
Saturday saw the potent Cottagers hit six goals for the third time this season. Marco Silva's side beat Bristol City 6-2, despite trailing 2-1 at one stage.
It was hot on the heels of their midweek 7-0 romp over Reading. They also scored seven in a thumping win away at Blackburn Rovers in November.
The form of Serbian goal machine Aleksandar Mitrovic has undoubtedly helped Fulham in their quest to smash all sorts of scoring records.
Mitrovic posted a first half hat-trick against the Robins to take his personal tally for the season to a whopping 27.
Will Fulham score 100 goals in the league this season? Let us know in the comments
He is now just four goals shy of equalling Ivan Toney's total of 31 - a record for the second tier since its revamp in 2004.
The half-dozen scored by Fulham on Saturday took their total for the league season so far to a mammoth 64. That makes them the highest scorers in the top two divisions of Europe's five most prominent countries.
Only German giants Bayern Munich come close. They notched four on Saturday to take their current total to 61.
After that, Liverpool have been in prolific form too with Jurgen Klopp's side notching 55 in 21 Premier League games.
Silva, speaking after a victory which took Fulham back to the top of the Championship, said: "The way he (Mitrovic) scored the two headers and, after that, great finishing for the hat-trick was very, very good - his skills, his quality there, what he's capable to do in the box.
"My players know they will not score always six or seven goals. If someone expects this type of score it will be a big mistake. Of course no one inside this football club is thinking this way.
"Of course if you ask me if I'm happy with the score, it is the way you like to do it. But if in the next game we win 1-0 I will be happy.
"This is the first time this season we came from behind, and this afternoon we came from behind twice.
“For our opponents the message that we send is when they play against us, nothing more. Their focus is in their games, our focus in our games. At the end of the season, we will see which team has more points.”
“We did it with big determination, and class as well, quality with the way we reacted to score some goals.
“I felt we worked hard because it is really tough everything they have done so far. We deserved the three points.”
The most goals scored by a Championship team was when Reading scored 99 in 2005-06, on their way to the title.
Given the form Fulham are in, and the fact they have 21 more games left to play, do not bet against them surpassing that.
