The largest funfair in Europe has set up in the UK and it is just over three hours away from Liverpool.
The Hoppings is a massive travelling fair that comes every year to Town Moor in Newcastle and is visited by people from across the country. It first began in 1882 as a Temperance Fair and this year opened its gates on June 16 and will run until June 25.
It takes three and a half hours to get to the fair from Liverpool City Centre. You can take food and soft drinks in but you are not allowed to take alcohol in, although there are vendors selling alcohol inside.
