West Ham’s reward for toppling Sevilla in the Europa League is a quarter-final showdown with Lyon, while Barcelona potentially await David Moyes’ side in the last four.
The Hammers, who overturned a last-16 first-leg deficit against six-time winners Sevilla in extra-time on an unforgettable night at the London Stadium on Thursday, will host Ligue 1 side Lyon in the quarter-final first leg in Stratford on April 7.
They are then due to make the trip to the Parc Olympique Lyonnais seven days later.
If West Ham continue their European fairytale against Lyon, they could then face Barcelona for a place in the final in Seville on May 18.
The LaLiga giants were paired with Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt in Friday’s draw, before being placed alongside the winners of West Ham vs Lyon in the semis.
Elsewhere in the latter stages of the Europa League, Rangers will face Portuguese side Braga in their first major European quarter-final since 2008.
If the reigning Scottish Premiership champions successfully negotiate that tie after also seeing off Red Star Belgrade, then one of RB Leipzig or Atalanta will lie in wait in the final four.
Atalanta overcame Bayer Leverkusen in the last-16 to progress, while Leipzig went through after Spartak Moscow were kicked out of the tournament following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
