EuroMillions: Single UK ticket holder claims £110million jackpot prize

A UK ticket-holder has claimed a huge £109.9 million EuroMillions jackpot won in last Friday night’s draw, Camelot said.

This is the first EuroMillions jackpot won in the UK this year and the lucky ticket-holder has jumped into tenth place on the National Lottery's Rich List.

The winning main numbers were 03, 25, 38, 43, 49 while the winning Lucky Star numbers were 03 and 07.

A single UK player matched all five EuroMillions numbers as well as the two Lucky Star numbers to scoop the top prize.

Once the ticket has been validated and paid, the mystery ticket-holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share their news.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “We’re delighted this amazing prize has now been claimed.

"It’s an amazing EuroMillions jackpot win which has propelled the lucky winner into the list of the top ten biggest National Lottery winners ever.

"Our focus now is on supporting the ticket-holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing win."

A statement by Camelot said: "As with all major prizes, the claim will now go through the process of validation, which includes checks to ensure the Games Rules Terms and Conditions are adhered to and the integrity of The National Lottery is protected.

"Subject to validation the prize will then be paid at an appointment with one of Camelot’s Winners’ Advisers.

"Once the ticket has been validated and paid, the ticket-holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share their news.

"There will be no information on whether they are an individual or syndicate winner, or where the ticket was purchased, unless the ticket-holder decides to go public."

Last year, five UK ticket-holders banked an incredible EuroMillions jackpot win including one lucky ticket-holder, who chose to remain anonymous, who scooped an amazing £122.5m jackpot prize in April.

This was then followed by another anonymous ticket-holder banking a £111m jackpot in June.

The country’s biggest ever National Lottery win was a £170m EuroMillions jackpot won by an anonymous ticket-holder in the draw on 8 October 2019.

By playing any National Lottery game, players generate more than £30m each week for National Lottery-funded projects.

To date, over £45bn has been raised for National Lottery Good Causes, with more than 660,000 individual grants awarded.
