EuroMillions results: No winner of €160m jackpot but one lucky Irish player scoops €500,000

One lucky Irish player is now half a million euro richer after winning a whopping €500,000 prize in the Euromillions Plus draw on Friday evening.

The winning ticket was sold in Kilkenny and the winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and to keep it safe.

There was no winner of the overall EuroMillions jackpot of €160,585,358 as the mammoth prize rolls over to next Tuesday.

Despite the main jackpot not being won, some very lucky Irish players did claim winnings from the European draw on Friday, September 17, with over 68,000 players winning prizes.
