EuroMillions results: Irish players urged to check tickets as one lucky punter wins thousands

EuroMillions players in Ireland are being urged to check their tickets after one lucky ticketholder scooped thousands in Tuesday night's draw.

There was no winner of the EuroMillions Jackpot of €64,950,730 but over 42,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the main draw and Plus games.

The top prize was won by a person matching five numbers to win €16,184.

The numbers called were: 1, 11, 13, 24, and 49 with the lucky star numbers 5 and 6.

Two players matched four numbers and the two lucky stars to win €960 among hundreds of other smaller prizes.

In the plus draw, 56 people won €2,000 by matching four numbers.

The winning numbers called in this draw were: 6, 15, 23, 30, and 31.

Meanwhile, players in Sligo are being urged to check their tickets for a draw that took place on January 15.

One ticket holder won €36,687 and has just ten days left to claim the money.

The player in the Culleens area of Sligo has until April 15 to come forward to claim the Match 5 + Bonus prize.

The winning Lotto numbers for the Saturday, January 15 draw were: 02, 09, 16, 30, 37, 40 and the bonus 23.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “As we get closer to the claim deadline for the outstanding Lotto Match 5 + Bonus prize, we are encouraging all of our players who may have purchased their tickets in the Culleens area of Sligo for the 15th January draw to check their tickets as soon as possible.

“There is a Sligo player who is yet to come forward to claim their €36,687 which they won on the same night that a player in Mayo became the largest Lotto jackpot winner ever in the history of the game.

“The winning ticket was purchased on the day of the draw in the Mace store at the Hilltop Service Station in Culleens, Co. Sligo.

“With the last date to claim fast approaching on Friday 15th April, we are advising the ticket holder to contact our prize claims team immediately on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.”
