This Friday’s EuroMillions jackpot is a guaranteed €130m jackpot.
The National Lottery announced the huge prize – which was not affected by the result of last night’s (Tuesday) €17m jackpot draw - and said it is “due to an extra special event among the nine participating countries”.
A spokesperson said: “A guaranteed €130m will be up for grabs.

“The EuroMillions community holds a special Mega Draw event a number of times a year and it always creates incredible excitement.
“Excitement is sure to grow as we get closer to the draw and we are advising our players to purchase their tickets early.”
There have been 17 Irish EuroMillions jackpot winners since the EuroMillions game was launched in Ireland in 2004.
Dolores McNamara, from Limerick, became Ireland’s first and biggest EuroMillions winner when she scooped over €115m in July 2005.
The most recent was in February of last year when a Co Clare family syndicate shared €30.9 million with a ticket from Larkin’s Gala service station in Ballina, Co Tipperary.
