Dublin has another pair of big EuroMillions winners after two lucky ticketholders from either side of the Liffey scooped prizes totalling €837,142 in last night's draw.
Just last week, two Dubs struck lotto luck, banking more than €500K between them - and now it's happened again.
The National Lottery is now asking all its EuroMilions players, both north and south of Dublin to check their tickets.
On the northside, one lucky punter bagged a cool €337,142 when they matched five numbers and one lucky star number (from 1-12).
It meant that this person was just one number shy of sharing the €51,583,717 EuroMillions jackpot, which was won in Spain.
This Quick Pick ticket was sold at the Centra store on the Main Street of Howth, Co Dublin.
The winning numbers from the main EuroMillions draw are: 02, 24, 39, 45, 46 and the two lucky star numbers are: 04 and 08 .
On the other side of the River Liffey, in Kimmage, another lucky person won a tidy €500,000 after winning the EuroMillions Plus top prize. This ticket was sold at Mace on Kimmage Road Lower, Dublin 12.
This is the 14 EuroMillions Plus top prize to be won in Ireland so far in 2020 with €7 million in top prizes being shared by all winners. The winning EuroMillions Plus numbers from last night’s draw are: 04, 05, 29, 30 and 42 .
Both of these winning tickets were bought yesterday, Friday 12 June.
A spokesperson for the National Lottery said: “It would have been fantastic to get Ireland’s sixteenth EuroMillion jackpot winner last night and one person in North Dublin was so close to doing that.
"However, a prize of €337,142 is still a really nice prize to win on this rainy morning. We are asking all our Dublin players to get checking those tickets to see if you have won of these big prizes.
"If you are one of those two lucky ticketholders, be sure to sign the back of the ticket and please contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and we will make arrangements to get your prize.”
