It is the final weekend of the league season across Europe but the action is just starting off the pitch with a decision about to be announced on Kylian Mbappe’s future.
There is one former Manchester United star who will definitely be leaving Paris Saint-Germain - and another who could be moving to Inter Milan.
And Benfica striker Darwin Nuñez has turned down two wealthy Premier League teams because they will not be playing Champions League football next season.
D-Day for Mbappe
L’Equipe , Marca and La Gazzetta dello Sport all report that Mbappe will announce where he will be playing next season on Sunday - the day after PSG’s final Ligue 1 match of the season at home to Metz. But there is no agreement on where the World Cup winner will be playing.
The French sports daily reports that PSG claim “discussions are ongoing” while Real Madrid remain confident of securing his signature
Marca reports that Mbappe met with his “trusted people” on Tuesday to discuss the situation and spoke to PSG that afternoon. Spanish media had reported the Frenchman had agreed to sign but there is no signature on a contract and there is a fear that he will turn Real Madrid down for a second time, like he did in 2017 when he opted to sign for PSG from Monaco.
Gazzetta says Mbappe has been offered a huge two-year deal by Qatari-owned PSG to ensure he is still playing for them at the Qatar World Cup - and then will be allowed to leave for nothing in two years.
Angel Di Maria to join revamped Juventus
There is no doubting one PSG will play his final game for the French champions on Saturday night. The Argentine, 34, will play his 295th and final match after seven seasons since joining from Manchester United in August 2015.
PSG have opted against taking up the option of another year after he was used less this season after the arrival of his friend Lionel Messi and scored only four goals and had eight assists.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports he will sign on a free for Juventus as part of summer refit.
The Turin club are competing with PSG for the free signature of Paul Pogba while officials have been in London this week to discuss a deal for Chelsea ’s Jorginho.
Summer sales - and cutbacks - in Turin
Juventus have failed to win a trophy for the first time in a decade and will finish with fewer points than under the sacked Andrea Pirlo last season.
A summer overhaul of the squad will see Paulo Dybala and Federico Bernardeschi allowed to leave on free transfers.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports France midfielder Adrien Rabiot wants a move to the Premier League while Aaron Ramsey is also available as he still has a year left on his contract and Rangers will not take an option to sign him.
Marca also reports that Juventus will not take up the €35m option to sign former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata on a permanent deal from Atletico Madrid after two years on loan.
Nunez wants Champions League football
Darwin Nunez, 22, is one of the hottest strikers in Europe after scoring 34 goals in 41 games in all competitions for Benfica this season.
According to French radio station RMC , the Uruguayan striker has turned down approaches from Manchester United and Newcastle - who have both offered €80m - because he wants to play in Europe’s top club competition.
The South American is also being tracked by Paris Saint-Germain.
Henrikh is ready to leave Jose
Inter Milan are fighting with city rivals AC Milan for the Serie A title this week but the defending champions are already thinking about next season.
And Gazzetta dello Sport reports they want to sign Henrikh Mkhitaryan on a free transfer from Jose Mourinho ’s Roma.
The former Arsenal and Manchester United playmaker only signed a one-year extension last summer and the Armenian has starred in the team which has reached next week’s Europa Conference League final.
Mourinho and Roma want him to stay and sign a new deal but Inter, who have signed Ajax keeper Anre Onana and Paulo Dybala on frees, are considering another big-name Bosman signing.
