Eubank vs Benn LIVE!
Chris Eubank Jr has beaten Conor Benn in their hotly-anticipated middleweight grudge match in London. A high-profile fight that was years in the making more than lived up to the billing on Saturday night as two bitter arch-rivals played out a pulsating, all-action clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Eubank Jr winning by unanimous decision after scores of 116-112 in his favour on all three judges’ scorecards.
Attentions now turn to a contracted rematch, with Benn eager to swiftly avenge the first defeat of his professional career after jumping up two weight divisions as he also signalled a desire to potentially challenge Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight world title. Eubank Jr was taken to hospital in an ambulance after the fight for what promoter BOXXER called precautionary checks on the recommendation of the on-site doctor.
On Saturday’s undercard, Anthony Yarde outpointed Lyndon Arthur in a gruelling trilogy fight in the chief support act. Aaron McKenna dominated Liam Smith after Viddal Riley beat Cheavon Clarke to win the British cruiserweight title and Chris Billam-Smith defeated Brandon Glanton on his comeback after losing the WBO cruiserweight belt. Chris Eubank Jr taken to hospital for checks
Sunday 27 April 2025 00:18Promoters Boxxer have confirmed that, on the advice of the on-site doctor, Chris Eubank Jr has been taken to hospital in an ambulance for precautionary checks after tonight’s bout, with his post-fight press conference cancelled as a result.
Conor Benn wishes his rival well and says he’s heard that he suffered a broken jaw.
Eubank Jr also sustained that nasty cut above his right eye after an accidental clash of heads.

Eddie Hearn: Conor Benn 'won the hearts of the country'
Saturday 26 April 2025 23:43Conor Benn’s promoter Eddie Hearn says he feels his man easily could have won that tonight.
He bemoans all three judges scoring it by four rounds to Eubank Jr, which did feel a bit wide.
Hearn lavishes praise on Benn for his incredible efforts after jumping up two weight classes.
He says he thinks Benn won the hearts of the entire country tonight, calling him the people’s champion.
Conor Benn wants Eubank Jr rematch or Mario Barrios title challenge
Saturday 26 April 2025 23:37 , George FloodNigel Benn hugs his son, who looks absolutely shattered by that result having given absolutely everything tonight after jumping up two weight divisions.
Conor Benn says he will have to watch the fight back but puts the loss down to his enforced inactivity over recent years.
He says he would love the rematch and we will surely get it given the existence of such a clause in the fight contract and how thrilling that was tonight.
If not, Benn says he wants to go back down to welterweight and challenge Mario Barrios for the WBC world title.
But he says he can compete up at 160.
He still looks so heartbroken as he makes his way from the ring.

Eubank Jr 'surprised' by Benn efforts: 'I didn't know he had that in him'
Saturday 26 April 2025 23:33A humble post-fight interview in the ring from Eubank Jr, who speaks of how pleased he is to have his dad back on his side at long last.
Eubank Sr says he was never going to miss it, hailing his son’s ability to win that fight when forced to stand and trade inside a small ring as “legendary behaviour”.
Eubank Jr says of Benn: “I didn’t know he had what he had in him. I really didn’t.
“I thought I would break him early. I underestimated him, I didn’t train for a fight like that.
“I didn’t know he had that in him. He’s never shown that, but then again he’s never had to show it.
“He had to show it tonight. So did I.”

116-112 x3 - all in favour of Chris Eubank Jr, who sinks to his knees and roars as he’s announced as the winner by unanimous decision.
Benn looks shocked and crestfallen.
8-4 in rounds to Eubank.

Saturday 26 April 2025 23:08 , George FloodThe sensational action continues right until the last bell - there may even have been a shot there from Eubank Jr afterwards.
We go the distance and both men raise their hands.
Benn is on his dad’s shoulders - they clearly think he’s won this.
Nice moments as Chris Eubank Sr and Conor Benn embrace.
Which way is this going to go?
We’re going to see the rematch either way.

Eubank vs Benn
Saturday 26 April 2025 23:04 , George FloodRound 11
Eubank Jr finds a second wind to tee off on Benn midway through the penultimate round.
More gruelling, furious and physical close-range exchanges follow - there was a right hand before the bell there that might have buzzed Eubank Jr, who is trying to use his greater weight to his advantage on the inside.
Blood smeared on the white shirt of referee Victor Loughlin from that awkward cut around Eubank’s right eye.
Eubank vs Benn
Saturday 26 April 2025 23:00Round 10
Massive credit to Benn, he looked a little tired earlier with all the extra weight but he’s found an extra level to sustain the incredible pace in a firefight.
He’s landing well in these exchanges and Eubank Jr appears to be feeling this now.
Or is he? A cracking response towards the end of the 10th from Eubank Jr as he lands some solid replies.
Just two rounds to go!
Eubank vs Benn
Saturday 26 April 2025 22:56 , George FloodRound 9
This is utterly gripping stuff as again a firefight breaks out early in the ninth.
You can’t take your eyes off it for a second!
Benn is unloading at every opportunity and Eubank Jr is now cut above his right eye - that could be a problem as the blood trickles into the eye.
Confirmation from referee Victor Loughlin that was caused by a clash of heads.
What a battle we’ve got on our hands now.
Eubank had taken control so Benn decides to make it an all-out war!

Eubank vs Benn
Saturday 26 April 2025 22:51 , George FloodRound 8
Benn ups the tempo again straightaway in the eighth and attacks with menace, his fists a blur of speed and fury.
Eubank Jr is caught as he tries to land his own left and we’re now into a firefight.
Benn is throwing a lot of caution to the wind here as he keeps swinging away to try and land a huge shot.
He’s putting Eubank under massive pressure with the crowd on their feet amid brilliant action at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Eubank fights fire with fire and the two continue to trade furious barrages before the bell.
Looks like Eubank Sr is coming down to the corner before the start of the ninth.
Does he have some wisdom to impart?
His son is winning...
Eubank vs Benn
Saturday 26 April 2025 22:48Round 7
Benn has unquestionably slowed down over the last few rounds - perhaps to be expected with all the extra weight he’s carrying.
He’s still got an aggressive edge and wants to jump on Eubank Jr when he can and let the venomous shots go in bunches.
But Eubank Jr is measuring the distance very well now for the most part and thudding in some solid shots behind the left jab.
He’s produced the better combinations and is largely frustrating Benn.
Really good work.
Eubank vs Benn
Saturday 26 April 2025 22:44 , George FloodRound 6
More aggression in the sixth again from Benn, he’s landing some eye-catching shots and has to be pulled away from Eubank Jr as he tries to rough him up and wrestle back some momentum.
Eubank Jr goes back to work behind the jab though, which is working well now.
Another close round, I think you could easily make the case that it’s 3-3 - first three rounds to Benn, the next trio to Eubank Jr.

Eubank vs Benn
Saturday 26 April 2025 22:38Round 5
Another warning for both men for punching on the break before the start of the fifth, with Benn then taking a tumble and rolling backwards across the canvas.
Just a slip rather than a knockdown, though.
Benn is rather smothering his own work on the inside as Eubank Jr begins to piece the combinations together off that solid left jab.
Benn bounces off the ropes WWE-style.
But this is better from Eubank now, he’s got his bearings and is measuring the tempo and distance on his shots much better.
Benn with his moments, but another Eubank round for me.
Eubank vs Benn
Saturday 26 April 2025 22:34 , George FloodRound 4
Better from Eubank Jr early in the fourth as he jabs hard to the body.
Some more weight behind these shots now as he looks to establish a rhythm.
But Benn fires back with some sharp lefts and looks to plant a big right.
Some furious close-range exchanges as they end up tied up against the ropes before the bell.
Eubank vs Benn
Saturday 26 April 2025 22:31Round 3
This is really promising for Benn as Eubank starts to ramp up the jab early in the third but is then hurt by a lovely sharp one-two combination.
His legs look to have gone for a moment, but he does recover.
Benn is keen to jump on Eubank Jr at any opportunity and he rather drags him down as they both end up on the canvas.
This has been a solid start from The Destroyer.
Eubank Jr has yet to settle into this.

Eubank vs Benn
Saturday 26 April 2025 22:26 , George FloodRound 2
Benn is ultra-aggressive to no one’s surprise, but referee Victor Loughlin - who insisted the two men reluctantly touch gloves before the first bell - has a warning for punching on the break.
Benn is looking the livelier and more explosive as Eubank Jr tries to get that jab working.
Benn is stepping in nicely off the left jab and looking to detonate the right.
They exchange words after the bell at the end of a second round that was surely taken by Benn.
Eubank vs Benn
Saturday 26 April 2025 22:23 , George FloodRound 1
Benn starts very quickly as we expected, trying to land some huge shots from the outset and dispel any notion that the size difference is too much for him to overcome.
Eubank Jr throwing plenty too as both men try to impose themselves in an early flurry of action.
It’s very watchable stuff already, but neither man made a breakthrough.
A close opener that will have been very tough to score.
Eubank vs Benn
Saturday 26 April 2025 22:20HERE WE GO!
A brilliant atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and plenty of cheers and boos in equal measure for both men.
And a fast start too as they come out swinging and try to take centre ring...

Saturday 26 April 2025 22:11 , George FloodThe Eubanks soak up the amazing atmosphere from a pumped crowd as what sounds like an orchestral version of ‘Still D.R.E’ rings out next.
It’s not often Jr comes into any fight as the more popular man.
We kick into the proper version of the hip-hop classic and they stroll into the ring.
Eubank Jr with his typical shuffle as he vaunts over the ropes, before old foes Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn embrace.
A really nice moment.

Anthony Yarde earns decision win over Lyndon Arthur in trilogy fight
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:53Here come the judges scores:
115-113, 116-112 x2 - all in favour of Yarde, who wins by unanimous decision.
116-112 does seem a bit wide, but genuinely not many cards would have stunned me there.
One of those fights that can be seen so differently by different people.
So Yarde wins the rivalry 2-1, surely we don’t need it a fourth time.
He’s now 27-3 after a fourth straight win, while Arthur drops to 24-3.
Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:48Round 12
Arthur ups the tempo in the final three minutes after a rallying cry in the corner and being teed off on against the ropes late in the 11th.
He shades another utterly gruelling, energy-sapping round fought yet again at close quarters.
The final bell sounds and I genuinely don’t know which way this is going to go.
I’ll be fascinated to see how the judges have scored what seemed to be such a close battle.
I’d probably just give it to Yarde on balance, but it’s not certain.
Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:45 , George FloodRound 11
Both men continue to throw plenty of punches in these gruelling close-range exchanges, Yarde having the better of many of them and driving spitefully to the body while leaning on his opponent and using that physicality.
Arthur is against the ropes again towards the end of the penultimate round and Yarde builds up a head of steam, attacking both body and head and buzzing Arthur, who could not escape.
That could be enough to put him in front.

Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:41 , George FloodProperly gruelling fare now this through 10, both men trying to get the upper hand on the inside with some messy, physical exchanges.
I’ll be honest, it’s very far from a classic and I don’t envy the judges having to try and score it.
Chris Eubank Sr hits back over Conor Benn claims
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:38Chris Eubank Sr gave a brief backstage interview with Sky Sports a little earlier and didn’t confirm if he would be in the stands or in his son’s corner later, insisting it didn’t matter as long as he was there.
He had this response to Conor Benn’s claims that he doesn’t like his own son...

Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:33 , George FloodYarde tries to rise through the gears and up the tempo late in the eighth following a strong seventh in which he showed flashes of that knockout power.
But Arthur is landing plenty of solid shots of his own as this low-key bout finally starts to liven up approaching the final third.
Really not sure how the judges will be looking at this.
Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:24 , George FloodWe need to see much more from Yarde here.
He can’t really get any rhythm or momentum going in a scrappy contest that is suiting Arthur at the moment, albeit with the latter having taken one or two powerful shots.
Arthur’s jab has stayed sharp and he’s mostly frustrating his rival through the halfway mark.
A very tough fight to score.
Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:20Ben Whittaker not looking too impressed in the crowd as he watches his British light-heavyweight rivals tussle through five fairly uneventful rounds.
‘The Surgeon’ stopped Liam Cameron in the second round of their rematch on Easter Sunday in Birmingham last weekend following that controversial draw in Riyadh last year.
Arsenal star Declan Rice is on enemy territory tonight as one of a number of famous faces at ringside.
Gordon Ramsey and Marcus Rashford among the others in attendance.
Or are they all just lookalikes as well? Hard to know!
Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:14 , George FloodRound 3
A cagey, technical battle this at the moment through three.
Arthur has jabbed well at times but he’s clearly hesitant and all too wary of the power that he knows full well Yarde carries.
Yarde is trying to step in and put the combinations together, aiming to both head and body.
Yet to really land that big right though.

Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:09 , George FloodRound 2
Not too much to shout about in the second, Yarde throwing out plenty of double jabs upstairs and digging more to the body.
But Arthur is also having decent success with the jab. This has yet to catch fire.
Backstage, Nigel Benn tells Sky Sports that he is really pleased to see Chris Eubank Sr reunite with his son tonight.
“It’s a family affair,” he says.
Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:05 , George FloodRound 1
Good work from both men in a closely-contested opener, but you can already see Yarde’s greater power from a mile away.
He’s throwing plenty to the body early doors, trying to sap Arthur’s energy from the first bell.
Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:01Underway in the co-main event of the night!
Who will win this trilogy battle?
Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur
Saturday 26 April 2025 21:00It was December 2020 when Yarde, not long off his brave world title tilt against Sergey Kovalev in Russia, was stunned via split decision by Arthur at Church House in Westminster.
He avenged that surprise loss a year later with a fourth-round knockout at the Copper Box Arena, eventually earning another title shot against Artur Beterbiev - losing a thrilling battle in the eighth.
He has rattled off three low-key wins since then against Jorge Silva, Marko Nikolic and Ralfs Vilcans, but it’s been an obvious struggle to find him more big fights.
Arthur has won five of his six bouts since that rematch loss to Yarde, taking the vacant IBO title against Braian Nahuel Suarez before losing it in a unification tussle with Dmitry Bivol in Riyadh in December 2023.
Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur
Saturday 26 April 2025 20:54Right, just one fight to go now before tonight’s mammoth main event at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!
The co-feature is another all-British showdown between familiar light-heavyweight foes Anthony Yarde and Lyndon Arthur, who complete a trilogy with their rivalry currently level at 1-1.

Billy Joe Saunders denied access to Chris Eubank Jr dressing room
Saturday 26 April 2025 20:48Another big storyline backstage as another of Chris Eubank Jr’s arch-rivals, Billy Joe Saunders, does not react well to being denied access to his dressing room.
Conor Benn wanted to wind up his opponent further by having another of his enemies be his representative to watch over Jr having his hands wrapped.
But he’s not been allowed in and it seems like another member of Benn’s team is now doing it instead.
Deary me.

Aaron McKenna dominates Liam Smith in career-best win
Saturday 26 April 2025 20:39 , George Flood119-108, 117-109, 118-108 - all in favour of McKenna, who wins by unanimous decision.
A sensational display from ‘The Silencer’ in front of a massive audience on the biggest stage that will surely catapult him into larger fights in the not-too-distant future.
He stays unbeaten and moves to 20-0, while Smith drops to 33-5.
He’s had a great career, but, turning 37 this summer, you wonder if it’s now time to call it a day.

Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna
Saturday 26 April 2025 20:36The final bell sounds on a career-best performance from Aaron McKenna against somebody who on paper was by far his toughest opponent to date, despite his significant time out of the ring.
Liam Smith was dominated from the outset, dropped in the 12th and I’m genuinely not sure you could give him a single round.
How wide will this be? The scores are coming...
Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna
Saturday 26 April 2025 20:31Back to the action in the ring and we’ve moved into the 12th and final round, where Smith undoubtedly needs a knockout to avoid a heavy points defeat.
And he’s down! Smith comes roaring back with great action as the seconds count down to the final bell.
How about that for an entrance to announce the reuniting of father and son!
What a moment. Wouldn’t look out of place in the WWE.

Chris Eubank Sr in the house
Saturday 26 April 2025 20:24 , George FloodSuch a great shot of Conor and Nigel Benn watching Chris Eubank Jr and Sr reunited on TV screens backstage.
Yet another huge talking point added to this spectacle.
You wonder what made Eubank Sr eventually change his mind after being such a fierce critic of this fight in the build-up.
But on a human level it’s undoubtedly great to see father and son reunited at long last, having heard Eubank Jr express his pain at the breakdown in their relationship since 2019.
Boos for Benn at ringside now become boos for Eddie Hearn, who laps it up.
Meanwhile, Aaron McKenna continues to deliver something of a boxing clinic through nine rounds against Liam Smith, who just has no answers.
Chris Eubank Sr with his son for tonight's main event
Saturday 26 April 2025 20:18Another round to McKenna, but a huge talking point now develops at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Chris Eubank Jr is seen emerging from a lift backstage - accompanied by none other than his dad Chris Eubank Sr!
Wow! Who saw that coming?!
A reunion between father and son, and not before time.
Brilliant!
Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna
Saturday 26 April 2025 20:15Round 7
I just can’t see a way Smith turns the tide here.
McKenna has long since slipped into a brilliant rhythm, showcasing all of his significant skills, jab, IQ, speed, footwork and full variety of punches.
So impressive from the talented Monaghan middleweight.
He hasn’t dropped a round yet and shows no signs of slowing down.
Smith’s experience is counting for nothing at the moment.

Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna
Saturday 26 April 2025 20:12 , George FloodRound 6
McKenna has a point deducted in the sixth but still Smith can’t make any inroads.
The Irishman just looks a total cut above and has all night so far.
He is teeing off at will constantly with those scoring shots that lack power but continue to find their target.
Nothing Smith can do at the moment to claw back this massive deficit that is only growing.
Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna
Saturday 26 April 2025 20:09 , George FloodRound 5
Smith looks to have a little cut after a clash of heads as both men receive words from the referee.
The round of an impressive fight so far from McKenna, who is growing in confidence all the time and continuing to rattle in those fast scoring shots.
He’s picking his punches so well and making Smith look every bit of his 37 years.
Beefy has to change something here as he’s lost all five rounds so far, albeit the first was very close.
Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna
Saturday 26 April 2025 20:04Round 4
The skillful McKenna continues to frustrate an out-of-sorts Smith, who is yet to really get a foothold here and needs to start leaning on his vast experience with the early rounds continuing to slip away.
McKenna is dominant and peppering with him fizzing scoring shots, constantly moving and letting his hands go in a blur off the backfoot.
Another round to the confident Irishman, who looks so comfortable and switching up his stances.
Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna
Saturday 26 April 2025 19:58 , George FloodRound 3
This is great stuff from McKenna through three.
His jab is working well, he’s moving brilliantly and continuing to counter smartly while still not wasting any unnecessary energy.
Smith is unable to make his pressure count and looks frustrated and a step slow against a man eight years his junior, which is perhaps to be expected in his first fight since September 2023.
McKenna 3-0 up for me, comfortably.

Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna
Saturday 26 April 2025 19:56 , George FloodSlightly bizarre scenes at ringside as KSI - who will have enjoyed that British title win for his former trainer Viddal Riley - and IShowSpeed shake hands with the fake Ed Sheeran, one of several lookalikes who keep appearing tonight.
Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna
Saturday 26 April 2025 19:54Round 2
Smith the aggressor again in the second as he continues to walk down McKenna, managing to land a couple of solid shots.
But McKenna’s speed and footwork is impressive as he continues to fizz in those eye-catching counters.
He’s smooth and stylish with his work, boxing nicely and 2-0 up on my card.
Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna
Saturday 26 April 2025 19:51Round 1
Both men look to find a home for their sharp jabs early in the opening round.
Smith is putting the pressure on from the outset and walking him down, but the slender McKenna is extremely light on his feet.
McKenna counters nicely and is clever and economical with his punches, choosing them wisely and not wasting any energy.
Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna
Saturday 26 April 2025 19:46Here we go!
A lively ring walk as ever for Liam Smith, who will hope to announce himself back on the middleweight scene tonight and claim the vacant WBA International title in the process.
Almost 37, he surely cannot afford another loss here.
Meanwhile, the undefeated McKenna is like a coiled spring before the first bell as he looks for by the biggest scalp of his promising career so far.
Liam Smith vs Aaron McKenna next
Saturday 26 April 2025 19:40It’s to the middleweight ranks next for the return of Liam Smith.
‘Beefy’ is fighting for the first time since seeing his shock fourth-round stoppage win over Chris Eubank Jr avenged in a one-sided rematch that ended in a 10th-round stoppage defeat in Manchester in September 2023.
He was due to return against Liam Kelly on the Anthony Joshua-Daniel Dubois undercard at Wembley last September, only to withdraw due to a virus.
The former WBO super-welterweight world champion has not given up hope of a potential deciding trilogy fight against Eubank Jr, but he’s got a really tough test here against undefeated Irishman Aaron McKenna.
‘The Silencer’ steps up for his biggest test to date, having amassed a 19-0 pro record after stopping Jeovanny Estela last time out.
He is one half of the McKenna brothers, with Stephen also a pro boxer.

Viddal Riley beats Cheavon Clarke to win British cruiserweight title
Saturday 26 April 2025 19:31 , George FloodViddal Riley takes it by unanimous decision with scores of 116-112, 117-111 and 115-113.
He is the new British cruiserweight champion and remains undefeated as he moves to 13-0.
And he’s done it against an Arsenal fan at the home of his beloved Tottenham - a night he’ll never forget.
A second straight loss for Clarke after his unsuccessful European title challenge against Leonardo Mosquea in Monaco in December.
He drops to 10-2 and can have few complaints after a very stodgy performance indeed.

Cheavon Clarke vs Viddal Riley
Saturday 26 April 2025 19:26A furious finish to an exciting 12th and final round as we go the distance for the second time in a row tonight on the Eubank Jr vs Benn undercard at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Some more urgency there from Clarke but surely a case of too little, too late.
Riley did more than enough to take that rather comfortably on the cards.
Again we await the judges scores...
Cheavon Clarke vs Viddal Riley
Saturday 26 April 2025 19:22 , George FloodThis is still all going firmly Riley’s way and Clarke is hurt late in the penultimate round!
A cracking short, counter right hand from Riley lands flush and buzzes the British champion, who quickly recovers but is in all sorts of trouble now.
Riley surely three minutes away from taking the Lonsdale belt...
Cheavon Clarke vs Viddal Riley
Saturday 26 April 2025 19:16 , George FloodRound 9
Riley continues to be light on his feet and counter well in the ninth - and those are not weak shots.
No rhythm or fluidity to any of Clarke’s work at the moment.
For the second straight fight, the big ‘Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ logo in the middle of the ring is causing problems with both fighters repeatedly losing their footing on it.
This could become a huge theme of the night.
Cheavon Clarke vs Viddal Riley
Saturday 26 April 2025 19:11Round 8
Clarke is just not impressing at all here, it’s all so telegraphed, laborious and one-paced for the most part.
He’s in serious danger of suffering a second successive defeat and following that shock European cruiserweight title miss by relinquishing his British belt to the reigning English champion.
Riley hasn’t hurt him, but looks far more confident and skilful.
Three to go...

Cheavon Clarke vs Viddal Riley
Saturday 26 April 2025 19:06 , George FloodClarke had more success early in the sixth by upping the tempo and driving in that right hand.
But again he can’t really follow up on it or impose himself, allowing Riley to continue to look the superior fighter primarily due to his eye-catching footwork.
Riley is still looking so light on his feet, circling Clarke and peppering the target smartly.
Clarke has to do more here, and quickly.

The same pattern endures early in the fifth, though Clarke begins to have more success as the round wears on as he finds a home for a couple of solid shots, looking to work the body.
Riley shrugs them off though and fires back before the bell.
Cheavon Clarke vs Viddal Riley
Saturday 26 April 2025 18:52Round 4
The energetic and rangy Riley continues to force the pace in the fourth, utilising those long levers to counter and frustrate Clarke.
He needs to be careful when he ducks into shots though as Clarke only narrowly missed with a swinging uppercut there.
A couple of nice, snappy shots from Riley, who is on top through the first third of this 12-round contest.
Cheavon Clarke vs Viddal Riley
Saturday 26 April 2025 18:48 , George FloodRound 3
Clarke had been utilising his jab well early on and showcased some intent on a few aggressive lurches forward.
But the quick Riley’s footwork is better and he’s looking sprightly, moving around the target well and peppering him with punches.
A good round that for Riley.

Cheavon Clarke vs Viddal Riley
Saturday 26 April 2025 18:45A rather low-key start to this British cruiserweight title fight.
It’s tentative stuff for the most part, both men feeling each other out and yet to really impose themselves.
Maybe they’ve each edged a round so far.
Cheavon Clarke vs Viddal Riley
Saturday 26 April 2025 18:36 , George FloodArsenal anthem ‘North London Forever’ blares out at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Cheavon Clarke makes his ring walk in a Gunners robe.
Riley is in a white and blue robe in Spurs colours.
We last saw 2020 Olympian ‘C4’ Clarke in action in Monaco in December, when he missed out on the vacant European cruiserweight title and dropped to 11-1 (7 KOs) with his shock first professional defeat by split decision to France’s Leonardo Mosquea.
He will look to bounce back by providing another successful defence of the British belt he won by stopping Ellis Zorro last May.
He faces the unbeaten 12-0 (7 KOs) English champion Riley, the YouTuber, musician and former trainer of KSI who is rising through the pro ranks.
Riley had his first fight up at heavyweight in Liverpool before Christmas, stopping Dan Garber in two rounds after a bout at cruiser with Steve Eloundou Ntere was cancelled.
Riley also beat Mikael Lawal last year to defend the English title won against Nathan Quarless and has also seen a showdown with Isaac Chamberlain fall through.
Here we go...

Saturday 26 April 2025 18:30On we go with tonight’s undercard and it’s another potential cracker on the way next.
It’s Arsenal vs Tottenham at the Hotspur Stadium as Gunners fan Cheavon Clarke defends his British cruiserweight title against Spurs supporter Viddal Riley.

Chris Billam-Smith beats Brandon Glanton by unanimous decision
Saturday 26 April 2025 18:21 , George FloodHere come the scores...
116-113, 116-112 x2 - all in favour of Chris Billam-Smith, who wins by unanimous decision.
A crucial swift comeback victory for ‘The Gentleman’ as he looks to earn another cruiserweight world title shot very quickly, having lost the WBO belt to Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez in Riyadh in November.
No issues with those cards, Glanton doesn’t seem to have any either.

Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 18:20 , George FloodRound 12
Glanton catches Billam-Smith with a heavy shot towards the end of the final round, with blood trickling down from around the left eye area of CBS.
But he’s not in any danger and the final bell duly sounds, with ‘The Gentleman’ surely set to take this victory comfortably on the cards.
A very watchable fight to kick things off tonight, gruelling and physical with a searing pace early on.
Glanton had plenty of success through the first half of the bout as both men threw heavy shots in bunches, but CBS took control and rather pulled away thereafter.
Plenty of apologies from both men after the final bell as they embrace, put an acrimonious fight build-up to one side and bury the hatchet.
We now await those all-important judges’ scorecards...
Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 18:14Round 11
CBS is looking comfortable now with time quickly running out for a game but exhausted Glanton.
The penultimate round is followed by an (admittedly very good) Ed Sheeran lookalike entering the ring with a guitar and signalling the arrival of the 12th.
There are also David Beckham and Anthony Hopkins lookalikes on the scene, the latter in full Hannibal Lecter garb.
What on earth...
Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 18:12Round 10
Glanton continues to really feel the pace in the 10th.
He’s still walking down Billam-Smith but his attacks are laboured, tired and without the same snap on the short shots.
CBS is able to read them and counter well, still targeting the body and unleashing his dangerous right hook to both head and body.

Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 18:06 , George FloodNine rounds down now in this entertaining, gruelling opener and Billam-Smith has rather taken control over the last couple.
We’ve got him ahead by three on our scorecard.
Can Glanton respond?
He’s not giving up and is clearly determined and durable, but the bigger and better shots are definitely coming from CBS.
Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 17:56 , George FloodRound 7
Down goes Glanton in the middle of the ring again early in the seventh and again he’s blaming his boots, but each time he’s been caught by Billam-Smith - including with yet another stinging right hook there.
CBS has successfully wrestled back the momentum here and is making his power felt.
Glanton is still throwing plenty but the more eye-catching and damaging shots are being detonated by the Brit.

Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 17:53 , George FloodRound 6
Glanton is on the canvas early in the sixth but it’s a clear slip.
He’s spun around by a solid right hook from Billam-Smith, who then buzzes the American with a peach of an uppercut and follows up with more wincing blows.
A great round for CBS.
Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 17:50 , George FloodRound 5
A familiar story in the fifth as both men continue to throw huge shots unencumbered.
Glanton is the constant aggressor, always walking down Billam-Smith towards the ropes and looking to land those short, sharp shots in bunches on the inside.
CBS is throwing plenty off the backfoot in reply, but he’s taking too many punches here for Shane McGuigan’s liking.
Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 17:45Round 4
Glanton is starting to have the better of these furious exchanges, working the angles well of his close-range attacks near the ropes.
He’s walking through everything being thrown at him by CBS at the moment, not showing much wear and tear from those body shots.
The pace begins to slow for the first time tonight midway through the fourth with both men inevitably feeling it after such a gruelling start.
This is a very tricky bout to score through the first third.
Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 17:40 , George FloodRound 3
Glanton is forced back by a good shot from Billam-Smith early in the third.
But he continues to fire back with solid punches of his own, continually uncorking some excellent short shots on the inside while also continuing to absorb damage to the body.
CBS takes a powerful combination before coming roaring back with his own punishing blows.
The huge bombs continue from both men in a gruelling, ultra-physical showdown.
‘The Gentleman’ is in a proper war here again, make no mistake.

Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 17:36 , George FloodRound 2
The non-stop action continues early in the second, Billam-Smith chopping in some eye-catching short shots off the ropes.
It’s gruelling stuff with plenty of physicality on the inside, Glanton having success with some sharp uppercuts in close.
That left eye of Billam-Smith that was so damaged against Ramirez is looking marked up already.
Both men are landing some good shots in a really physical battle, including a stinging strike from Glanton before the bell.
Still a hell of a pace to this one.
Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 17:32Round 1
A lively and explosive start to this contest, with both men quickly content to stand and trade heavy shots at close range around the ring.
Glanton is sporting some heavy strapping on his left knee.
Some lovely body blows rattle in from Billam-Smith, sapping the energy of his rival.
Glanton takes them and fires back in an action-packed opener, but the better punches there were definitely from CBS.
Can they keep this pace up?!
Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 17:26 , George Flood33-year-old Brandon Glanton - AKA ‘Bulletproof’ - is 20-2 (17 knockouts) as a professional, having lost his unbeaten record to David Light in 2022 and then been defeated by Soslan Asbarov.
He has since rattled off three successive wins over Carlos Fromenta, Emil Markic and Alexey Egorov.
Billam-Smith is now 34 and his record also stands at 20-2 (13 KOs), with an initial loss to Richard Riakporhe back in 2019 the only other blot on his copybook so far.
It will be interesting to see how that left eye is holding up for CBS after the damage he took against Zurdo Ramirez.

Chris Billam-Smith vs Brandon Glanton
Saturday 26 April 2025 17:22 , George FloodThe first fight of tonight’s undercard is almost upon us at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It’s the return of Chris Billam-Smith, who begins his bid to get quickly back into the cruiserweight world title picture after losing the WBO belt he took from Lawrence Okolie and had successfully defended against both Mateusz Masternak and Richard Riakporhe before a brave loss to WBA champion Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez in Riyadh in November.
Bournemouth favourite ‘The Gentleman’ starts his comeback attempt against the sharp-tongued and big-talking American Brandon Glanton, who has been trying to rile up the affable Billam-Smith all week.
He was heavily criticised for vowing to give CBS “brain damage” after accusing him of snubbing his attempts at a handshake after he beat Okolie on a memorable night at the Vitality Stadium back in May 2023.

Why Chris Eubank Sr will not be at tonight's fight
Saturday 26 April 2025 17:17 , George FloodThe sheer weight disparity is among the chief complaints among the plentiful critics of tonight’s main event, which most notably include Chris Eubank Sr.
While Nigel Benn will be in Conor Benn’s corner this evening, Eubank Jr will again not have his famous father alongside him as he looks to settle the long-running family rivalry that erupted with those two memorable middleweight and super-middleweight title fights in the 1990s - the first of which Eubank Sr won via ninth-round stoppage, the second drawn.
Eubank Sr spent the first years of his son’s career firmly in his corner, but sadly their relationship has broken down since 2019 and Sr has been fiercely critical of Jr for taking this fight and his behaviour with the press conference egg slap in February.
Eubank Jr has also spoken candidly this week about the death of his brother Sebastian in Dubai in 2021 and the impact it has had on his family.

Unsympathetic Benn vows to 'take Eubank Jr's head clean off'
Saturday 26 April 2025 17:01 , George FloodAs expected, sympathy for Chris Eubank Jr was non-existent from his opponent and long-time arch-rival.
"It's an expensive price to pay isn’t it, but he's disciplined so he should have made the weight,” Conor Benn said.
"He’s made this weight his whole career. He's expecting a little bit of sympathy, but he hasn’t got any sympathy around here.
"I'm a 147 [pound] fighter so I'll go in there and use my speed, my ferocity.
“I don't know if I'm supposed to look scared, intimidated. I'm neither. I'm just looking forward to Saturday. I'm here to take his head clean off.”
Responding to those videos of him trying to cut the last ounces, Benn had replied on X: “Christopher who are you trying to fool and get sympathy from?
“I'm coming up to your weight, a weight you've made your last three fights and most of your career.
"It's like you're looking for excuses already? First time you've ever missed weight and first time you've ever posted a weight cut."

Benn also posted a video of himself listening to ‘Show Me the Money’, while promoter Eddie Hearn said: “Chris is a great fighter, couldn't make middleweight, everybody needs a bit of discipline in their life. Conor is ready. The mojo has switched so much.
“Nobody has asked the question of Conor Benn coming up two weights. You will see him chop down a tree.
“I've never met a man who wants to win more than him. Benn inside four rounds.”
Eubank Jr reacts to huge fine for narrowly missing weight
Saturday 26 April 2025 16:51 , George FloodHere’s how Chris Eubank Jr reacted to missing weight so narrowly yesterday, having initially posted videos on social media of his gruelling attempts to sweat out the final ounces.
“Listen, it is what is,” he said after stepping on the scales again last night at the ceremonial weigh-in held in front of fans and the media at the Business Design Centre in Islington.
“If they are going to take half a million off me for being 0.5 pounds off the limit, then that's just what it is. That’s the people that Eddie Hearn, Matchroom and Conor Benn are.
“At the end of the day, weights have no relevance to what happens tomorrow night. I'm going to go out there and stop this guy.
“The rehydration clause is in play so I have to watch what I eat and drink, but all these things are set up to distract and displace and try to get me off track. None of it will work.
“He's in for a hell of a surprise. He has no idea of the pain that is in store for him.”

Ugly row erupts over Conor Benn's gloves
Saturday 26 April 2025 16:37Chris Eubank Jr fractionally missing weight was not the only drama that unfolded yesterday, with a row also erupting over Conor Benn’s gloves that almost saw the respective teams come to blows.
Eubank Jr’s camp are angry over gloves containing horse hair being approved by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC), insisting they made it clear all along that they didn’t want that allowed.
However, their protests were dismissed by BBBoC general secretary Robert Smith at a tense meeting, in which he said they should have been there at the beginning.
Matchroom CEO Frank Smith and Eubank Jr advisor Mazhar Majeed then had to be separated as the pair exchanged barbs and went head to head as things threatened to turn nasty.
Majeed was furious with Robert Smith too, insisting he was trying to avoid a repeat of what happened before the Kell Brook-Amir Khan fight back in February 2022, when the bout was almost called off at late notice amid a disagreement over gloves and Brook ended up changing his in the ring before it started.
We haven’t heard too much more on that today, so fingers crossed it’s not going to create a late problem ahead of the main event.

Eubank Jr vows to 'make history' after making fight-day weight
Saturday 26 April 2025 16:26Here is the proof from Chris Eubank Jr that he was indeed under the 170-pound rehydration limit this morning.
Having already lost around £475,000 ahead of this fight as a result of marginally missing weight and his egg slap on Conor Benn that sparked an ugly brawl at a press conference in February, I’m sure he’s glad to have avoided another hefty financial penalty.
Fight day weigh-in complete. Rehydration restriction is over. Now all that’s left to do is rock up to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight & make history #EubankBenn pic.twitter.com/Nmt3hawDle

Eubank Jr makes 170-pound limit on fight day
Saturday 26 April 2025 16:15 , George FloodThere are of course so many strands to this main event tonight, but the weight is obviously one of the biggest - and we’re pleased to report that there were no further issues on that front this morning.
This fight is being contested at middleweight, with the first cancelled bout in October 2022 agreed at a catchweight of 157 pounds.
Chris Eubank Jr was fined £375,000 for being fractionally over the middleweight limit after arriving an hour late to yesterday’s dramatic behind-closed-doors weigh-in, first weighing in at 160.2 pounds and then 160.05 (Benn was 156.4).
That sparked an inevitable furore and much mocking from Conor Benn, with the focus then switching to this morning’s final weight check at 8am in which both fighters got on the scales again separately at their respective hotels to ensure they were not over 170 pounds as per the terms of the strict 10-pound fight day rehydration clause.
Eubank Jr avoided another enormous fine by tipping the scales at 169.4 pounds, while Benn was at 165.
Both men were then free to rehydrate and add more weight before tonight’s opening bell, with Benn’s promoter Eddie Hearn previously predicting that Eubank Jr could enter the ring weighing as much as 175 or 180.
Jumping up two divisions, Benn, who normally fights at the welterweight limit of 147 pounds, could therefore be giving up as much as a full stone in weight to his opponent tonight - a massive disparity he will have to find a way to negate.

Eubank vs Benn prediction
Saturday 26 April 2025 16:00 , George FloodFrom a purely simplistic viewpoint, it is tough to see how Conor Benn is able to bridge the significant size difference between the rivals on Saturday night.
Jumping up two weight divisions is quite an ask at the best of times, especially against an opponent as experienced as Chris Eubank Jr.
But Eubank Jr so often flatters to deceive even during the course of fights that he wins comfortably, frequently accused of coasting, taking rounds off and needlessly allowing his opponent a potential route back into proceedings.
After his very tough last few years and with all the emotion and bad blood in this long-running family rivalry, Benn will be absolutely desperate to put on an explosive show to put his long since stalled career firmly back on track and claim ultimate bragging rights, no doubt coming into the ring as a ball of relentless rage and energy in blistering attack mode from the off.

If he is able to get in close to Eubank Jr in a smaller 18-foot ring for sustained periods and let the venomous shots fly in bunches, he has the ability to really cause problems and hurt him, with some vicious knockouts on Benn’s record.
But providing he can sustain his focus for the full 12 rounds and box smartly to utilise his obvious advantages, we’re backing Eubank Jr to take it on the cards.
Fail to do that though and Benn is more than capable of taking the victory in some style provided the extra weight doesn’t cause him to tire quickly and his power at 147 translates up two divisions, especially given Eubank Jr’s obvious struggles with cutting weight that may have taken its toll this week.
Eubank Jr to win on points.

Eubank vs Benn live
Saturday 26 April 2025 15:54 , George FloodAll the talking finally stops tonight as Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn settle their fierce rivalry inside the ring in a blockbuster main event at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
A massive all-British grudge match takes centre stage in north London at approximately 10pm BST, two-and-a-half years after it was cancelled at late notice following Benn’s two failed voluntary drugs tests.
Having always denied any wrongdoing and been cleared to resume his stalled career, he’s now making a significant jump up two weight classes to try and topple arch-rival Eubank Jr, settling a long-running family feud that first began with two epic title clashes between famous fathers Chris Eubank Sr and Nigel Benn in the 1990s.
There’s also plenty to look forward to on tonight’s undercard from around 5pm, including Anthony Yarde vs Lyndon Arthur 3, the British cruiserweight title clash between Cheavon Clarke and Viddal Riley and the respective returns of Liam Smith and Chris Billam-Smith.
Fireworks are guaranteed! Keep it right here to follow live Eubank vs Benn updates throughout the afternoon and evening.
