EU Urges Lifting Restrictions On Weapons For Ukraine

The European Union is intensifying pressure on Ukraine's international supporters to remove limitations on the use of weapons provided to the country, allowing its armed forces to strike targets within Russia. Ukraine seeks to target legitimate military sites in Russia to reduce Russian capabilities and protect critical infrastructure. The country is urging swift delivery of promised military support, particularly Patriot air defense systems, to counter Russian missile threats.

Ukraine has requested 25 Patriot air defense systems to safeguard its airspace effectively and defend against Russian missile strikes. The urgent need for these systems underscores the critical situation faced by Ukraine in the ongoing conflict.
