Two lucky players have scooped £1.1 million on the Lotto after nobody secured Saturday’s £20 million “must be won” jackpot, with the prize money rolling down. No ticket-holder matched all six main numbers, but two lucky winners have become millionaires after matching five out of six and the bonus ball to bag £1,179,164, according to Camelot.
The winning Lotto numbers were 01, 04, 09, 40, 44, 58, and the bonus number was 21. Set of balls seven and draw machine Arthur were used.
Andy Carter, Camelot’s senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery, said, “What amazing news – a big jackpot rolldown in tonight’s whopping £20 million Lotto ‘Must Be Won’ draw has resulted in two new millionaires being created after two lucky ticket-holders matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball. And 1.6 million players won £5 plus a free Lucky Dip just for matching two main numbers. As no ticket-holder won the jackpot, the prize is shared between all the other winners.”
Wednesday’s estimated lottery jackpot will be £2 million.
In the Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw, no player matched five out of five numbers to win £350,000 – but four ticket-holders matched four out of five to win £13,000.
The winning Thunderball numbers were 14, 27, 30, 32, 38 and the Thunderball was 10. No ticket-holder scooped the £500,000 prize up for grabs for matching all five numbers and the Thunderball, but three won £5,000 for matching five.
