ESPN is finalizing its lineup entering football season, and it’s expected to launch another new show soon.
ESPN is launching a new football show that has still yet to be named that will be hosted by Michael Eaves and will feature two analysts in former Super Bowl champion Booger McFarland and NFL head coach Herman Edwards, according to a report by The New York Post.

Edwards returned to ESPN in November 2022, less than two months after a controversial stint as head coach of the Arizona State football team came to an end.
ASU was placed under investigation for breaking recruiting rules like the dead periods during the COVID-19 pandemic which ultimately led to a staff overhaul, including Edwards' departure. On Aug. 27, news broke that ASU would be self-imposing a ban from the NCAA and Pac-12 postseason for this year.
However, this self-imposed sanction does not restrict the NCAA from imposing even more penalties on Edwards’ former team.
Prior to ASU, Edwards worked at ESPN for nearly a decade from 2009 to 2017. He was a head coach in the NFL for the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs before his first stint with ESPN.
