And while the Jets and Saints interest Adams, there are other teams that remain interested in the Raiders wide receiver.
Despite any speculation, the team not expected to be an option is Kansas City, per sources. https://t.co/YDLCRIFMe2

Davante Adams caught passes from Derek Carr on the Las Vegas Raiders and in college at Fresno State, and he wants to do it with the New Orleans Saints, too. That’s what ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Wednesday morning. Adams has requested a trade from the Raiders and Schefter says the Saints and New York Jets are on top of Adams’ wishlist.
It’s easy to see why. His old Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is with the Jets these days. And Carr is one of his closest friends going back to their college days (where, incidentally, Adams was recruited to Fresno State and coached by Keith Williams, the Saints’ new wide receivers coach). Adams wasn’t happy to see the Raiders bench and cut Carr after trading for him.
“I came here to play with Derek. I can’t say I would be here if he wasn’t here,” Adams told Rich Eisen last year, after Carr joined the Saints, “It definitely hurt not having him around, but after so long in the league you get used to it.”
So Adams is interested in the Saints for the same reason he was interested in the Raiders: Carr is their quarterback. But will that interest be reciprocated? It’s possible, seeing as Dennis Allen has been looking for more firepower outside guys like Chris Olave, Alvin Kamara, Rashid Shaheed and Taysom Hill. Adams would certainly bring that. When he and Carr were together for 15 games in 2022 Adams totaled 88 receptions, 1,290 yards, and 12 touchdowns.
