Every once in a while, there’s a moment of pure heated competitiveness that leaves the jaws of sports fans on the floor. The NSFW comments delivered by Commanders defensive tackle Jonathan Allen after Sunday’s loss to the Giants were certainly that. The gist of his comments focused on being tired of losing (with some not-so-kid-friendly language mixed in).
After the rant, ESPN analyst Ryan Clark provided an incredible breakdown of Allen’s diatribe on Monday’s episode of Get Up.
“When you walk up to the dude in the locker room, and he got a durag, sunglasses and a chain on with an open chest? You fittin’ to get some bleeps. You walked into expletives. … This man chose violence,” Clark said. “The sheer audacity of the outfit says, ‘I don’t give no f’s, zero of ’em, and you want to run this on regular syndicated network TV? You can’t! Look at my clothes, sir. Do I look like a man that is concerned with the rules? … The Washington Commanders made this man lose all his professionalism.”
It was a hilarious scene, and here’s a look at the full clip:
