ESPN’s Molly McGrath was reminded of the hazards sideline reporters can often face while working Saturday's Louisville-Miami ACC showdown.
McGrath, who was waiting to speak with Cardinals coach Jeff Brohm, unfortunately wound up being in the direct line of fire of the team’s celebratory Gatorade bath following their 38-31 victory over the Hurricanes.
While Brohm was standing next to McGrath for a postgame on-field interview, Louisville players showered their coach.

Following the game, McGrath took being caught up in the chilly bath in stride on her social media page on X (formerly known as Twitter).
“Gatorade bath season and it feels so good!,” posted McGrath.

The win by the No. 10 Cardinals (10-1) clinched a spot in the ACC Championship Game against No. 4 Florida State on Dec. 2 in Charlotte.
