The top two picks in the 2023 NBA Draft — at least in many mocks — appear to be locked in on the incredible Victor Wembanyama first and G League star Scoot Henderson going 1-2.
But who’s going third after them?
Now, obviously this depends on which team is there and what its need will be. But it opens up the question: Who’s the third-best player available?
Our Bryan Kalbrosky had Amen Thompson from Overtime Elite in his latest NBA mock draft. And now we have a new mock from ESPN’s Jonathan Givony in which he has Alabama’s Brandon Miller going to the Spurs.
Kalbrosky has Miller going fourth to the Hornets, and noted: “There are a lot of questions about Alabama’s Brandon Miller following his alleged involvement in the death of 23-year-old Jamea Jonae Harris. Miller, however, is unlikely to get charged. As one scout told me: If he “doesn’t get arrested” then he’s still going to be a “top-5” pick.”
There you have it. We’ll see if Miller’s performance in the men’s March Madness tournament cements him in that spot.
