How many wins for the Wolf Pack?

ESPN’s Football Power Index was recently released and that gives us a whole slew of numbers to pore over and try to figure things out for the upcoming season.

The FPI does give out a very precise win and loss totals and they put Nevada at 5.9 wins for this season. Below we will go through and see how many games the Lobow are favored to win.

The FPI also goes deeper with percentages to win the division and conference. The Wolf Pack are given a 7.1% percent chance to win the division and 1.8% to win the conference.

Nevada’s initial FPI number is 101.

Aug 27th: at New Mexico State (FPI: 131 | WIN)

September 3rd: vs. Texas State (FPI: 116 | WIN)

September 10th: vs. Incarnate Word (FPI: N/A | WIN)

September 17th: @ Iowa (FPI: 38 | LOSS)

September 24th @ Air Force (FPI: 71 | LOSS)

October 8th:  vs. Colorado State (FPI: 112 | WIN)

October 15th:  @ Hawaii (FPI: 108 | WIN)

October 22nd:  vs San Diego State (FPI: 80 | LOSS)

October 29th:  @ San Jose State (FPI: 109 | WIN)

November 5th: BYE

November 12th: vs. Boise State (FPI: 47 | LOSS)

November 19th: vs Fresno State (FPI: 69 | LOSS)

November 26th:  @  UNLV (FPI: 117 | LOSS)

Based on these FPI rankings, Nevada is projected to be favored in six of its 12 games.
